I'm used to working out on ellipticals at the gym but this one comes pretty close to the quality you get at the gym. i was skeptical at first but glad I did purchase. Assembly took a few hours but very easy to follow. Found out this equipment is built by the same folks that build Proform and Nordic Track ellipticals. I did alot of research and this same exact elliptical at Sears would cost you close to $900. Great value and very very sturdy.

Easy to put together. Very quiet machine with nice features. Runs on batteries. AC adaptor was included but no connection port was installed.

All in all very satisfied w/the purchase. Relatively easy install (a couple of hours), solid and sturdy product, and easy to use. I did the Site-to-Store pick-up option and was a little upset at first that the Eliptical Machine wasn't a Golds Gym product but instead a ProForm SpaceSaver DX. It's the same machine I believe but just a different name. Overall though I would recommend.

Well it took about 4 hours for one person to set up. I have used it a few times since it actually came. Only had it for about 2 weeks. Like the features and it seems very sturdy. Doesnt rock back and forth like so many other machines stated in their reviews. The only thing that bothers me is the stride length. I thought it had said 18" and that would be long enough compared to other 12" machines. Well if you are used to a gym machine... This wont be long enough. It still burns calories but unfortunately there is no calorie counter or I have yet figured it out after looking for it for so long and the heart rate monitors say I am basically dead most of the time! HAH! So if you want this I would probably either spend more money if you have it on something better, Or less money if you are not wanting to spend as much like I was!!

Excellent purchase for the price ($648). The elliptical was not too hard to assemble but came without instructions (I got them online from the manufacturer). It's fairly quiet except some squeeking.

assembly was not difficult, though I had to modify a couple parts to get the fit right. The machine compares well with a health club machine considering the difference in cost. It's sturdy and operates smoothly. One downside is the pulse grips. They don't work accurately. I cleaned them as instructed, but no luck. I wear a pulse watch, so it's not critical to me, but the heart programs can't be used.

Wheels are kinda squeaky, but they are rubber so that's probably normal. The program board takes a bit to get used to but once you do, its fine. The fan is useless, might as well not even exist. When we set it up, lots of things didn't quite line up. But, I am using it, and haven't had any major problems. It could be I'm just spoiled from using the ellipticals at my old gym.
