Much heavier duty than expected. Very well built.
Easy to put together in general. Instructions called for two people but was able to put together by myself. It would be nice if the manufacture put the shaft in for the arm handles pivot point. That was the worst part of putting together. I have been using it daily since I put it together no issue as of yet.
I purchased on line after going to three diffrent walmarts to buy and no one had the elliptical in there store but advertised in a ad.So after being frustrated and wasting gas driving to look for one i decided to go on line to purchace recieved it in a week,started putting it together and the foot pedals were missing, called golds gym help number they gladly sent to me but to wrong address after 10 days of not receiving they reordered and it took anothe 10 days to receive them.So finally a month after purchasing and getting the parts that werent in the box i finally get to use it and really like it.
I received this through the mail, it was free shipping and I got it real quick. It was so easy to put together my 13 year old daughter helped me and it took less than a couple of hours. The instructions were so simple to follow. I use it every day and am so happy I got it. I wish the display had a LED light on it or something but other than that I love it.
I am happy with my elliptical. It rocks slightly when I use it but not much. It has workout programs but no where to enter height and weight so the "calories burned" part is more of an estimate. Overall, it's what I expected for the price. Walmart's estimated ship date was the 27th of December and it arrived on the 12th. Nice surprise to receive it before Christmas.

This is a good home unit for beginners and intermediate users. Not sure how well an avid workout person would like it because it is designed for simple operations, does have several preset programs too.
This elliptical was a little challenging to assemble, requiring a friend's help for me at times. Once together, I was frustrated to find that it shakes more than I expected and this shaking is accompanied by some noise/clicking that I couldn't pinpoint. While I'd hoped that the other reviews weren't entirely true, it does make noise! You get what you pay for, and we were looking for something affordable. It's a shame it isn't a little better quality though!
It took my husband a little over two hours to assemble this elliptical. I really like it, because I am really looking forward to loose my extra pounds. It does come with built in work outs, that are not for beginners! They are brutal! Super hard for someone that is just starting to get back into shape, but I did already try all of them and I can vision myself using them, when I get at my current weight goal of 130 pounds. The day before using this elliptical machine I was weighing 172 pounds and I am now at 164 after 2 weeks of usage (3 times per week). So, I am exited! However, no matter how much grease I apply on it, it makes a loud squeaking noise. Therefore, I am still skeptical on whether if this elliptical will be durable, or if it will break on the next few uses. I am kind of short, 5'3, so I do have to stretch a little to grasp onto the handles. :) Over all I really like it, however, I know I will most likely need to upgrade to a better one in a few years.
I took it back the next day. Make too much noise and very complicated to put together. There was missing pieces too.
