Super easy to put together, only took about an hour by myself. Have only had for about a week but so far was everything I expected. I wouldnt bother with the power cord. The fan is pretty much a waste of batteries. I just use a floor fan when I need it. Overall I have been pretty pleased with it so far.

Installation was not too hard and directions were clear. It looks good after assembly and great for exercise. Built in fan and audio speakers are plus.

Now the the Elliptical has been used for 2 weeks I can say that this is a good elliptical for the price, features and the size. It runs smoothly. Wobbles a little for my husband who weighs 170. Even though it says it can be used by someone up to 250, I wouldn't suggest it. The only problem was that the right and left shild both had some damage to them (they should use bubble wrap with these parts).Called customer service and parts were replaced with 10 days. We were still able to use the elliptical with the cracked pieces though. As otheres have said the console is hard to read depending on lighting so a clip on light does work. I like the fact that I can manuver this byself if need be. Make sure to order the pro form adapter. Also adapter extesion can be gotten thru Amazon.

Heavy package, over 160 lbs, maybe should ship in 2 sections.... left flywheel cover, plastic with 3 mounting tabs broken in shipment, rather than complain, I drilled 4 holes and put wire in to hold the cover in place since it is merely decorative and a safety cover, it works ok now. good well made basic components.

The Elliptical works great and I love that it is iPod compatible but I was disappointed with the state it was in after shipping. We have several shield parts that are broken and the package of nuts, nails, and bolts had separated so we had to fish all of them out of the bottom, and organize them again in order to assemble it.

It's like the saying goes, "You get what you pay for". I wanted it to be like the ellipticals in the gym. This one is really rickety. Not sturdy at all. It squeeks when I use it The legs and arms seem to be too far apart. I just don't like it.

This seemed like a great value for the price. It arrived quickly and I was able to assemble it myself in about 2.5 hours. You need to buy the power cord separately unless you want to change the batteries every other day. Started using it - seemed great. After a couple uses, we noticed that the base pole that runs up to hold the screen started coming loose. I figured that there must have been a bolt that I didn't tighten quite enough, so I took the housing off, tightened all the bolts again (I was really surprised at how loose they had become) put the housing back on, and the next time I used it, I noticed half way through the workout that the base had come loose again...took the housing off...same issue. Then we noticed it did it every time we worked out. That's issue #1, the second problem was that after a couple workouts, the originally quiet motion of this elliptical turned into this wheezing sound with every rotation of the pedals. So, today, I have to disassemble the thing to fit it in my car and take it back to Walmart. I am not a happy customer. I would not recommend this model, or the Gold's Gym Brand to anyone. Pay a little more, get something better. Good luck!!

Arrived earlier than expected (kuddos to Walmart) but machine contained pieces that did not fit. When we contacted the manufacturer, who promised to send new parts via UPS, we found out on their tracking site about a week later that the package was missing and undergoing investigation to find it. We never heard back again from the customer support team from Gold' s Gym concerning it so we ultimately returned it, got a refund, and headed to Sports Authority for the Proform version and are happy now!
