Love it so far. Broke an old one and replaced it with this one. Works great. Great price. The only problem I see with it is after only a couple weeks of use it's already starting to creek and squeak a good bit. Nothing compared to my old one though. All in all... Very satisfied.
This product was easy to assemble and gives an excellent work out whether your just a beginner like me or well seasoned it has something for everyone. It was promised for delivery on 12/31 and actually arrived 12/23 a week early. thank you.
I was very skeptical purchasing this equipment based on some of the bad reviews, but I was low budget and thought I would give it a try, and let me say, I couldnt be happier with this elliptical! It took my dad and boyfriend about an hour to put together, the instuctions were not hard for them to follow. I used it that night and immediatly loved it. It gives me a great work out. No creaking, squeaking, or damages as other reviewers have mentioned. Doesnt take up alot of space and it's easy to move.
I ordered the Gold's Gym Stride Trainer 350 Elliptical from walmart online not long ago. Three days later it arrived on my doorstep. It was like Christmas! The set up was super fast, and as far as performance goes, it rocks my socks! It is quiet, and has many different settings so you can customize your workouts so they are just right for you! I love this elliptical!
Have had machine for over a week now. Use it almost daily. Definitely get a good workout in- as good as bigger machines at gym. Its really, really quite. Just need batteries for the power panel. No need to plug in. Husband put it together easily. Disposable gloves were needed when greasing up the inside. He did it all himself.
We haven't used it much, but plan to shortly. It seems durable. It doesn't seem to sway back and forth, even on carpet! It's quiet. This is the 2nd one we ordered. Unfortunately, the first one we bought at the store was 90% put together when we discovered holes for the cup holder and monitor were drilled in backwards on the wrong side. We ordered site to store and it was ready for pick-up the next day. We checked this box before leaving the store and all is good!!!
I haven't had an exercise routine in a long long time and am out of shape! This elliptical is a great starting point. I made it through the first program and am slowly building my endurance! Great choice for me!
After reading reviews of several other ellipticals, I decided on this one. I wasn't disappointed! The instructions said two people were needed to assemble it, but with a little creativity I did it on my own(and I'm a 52 year old female!). You definitely need 2 different sizes of Phillips head screwdrivers and a wrench to help tighten up the nuts but the mallet that was recommended wasn't needed. The instructions were fairly easy to understand and honestly the hardest part for me was getting the box in the house! The machine is quiet and will definitely give you a workout. Not too sure the calorie counter is accurate and the pulse monitor sometimes won't read correctly. The machine is compact and fairly easy to move. I have used it for almost 2 weeks now and all in all I am very happy with it!
This was my second elliptical which I purchased on 11/10/2013 to replace my much cheaper previous Weslo one. The previous unit needed to be repaired twice in the 2 years I owned it & when it broke the third time figured it was time to replace it. Bought this one figuring to go more expensive and it would last longer. This unit has always been a little less stable than previous unit and would walk forward on the floor during my workouts ending about a foot forward from the starting position. I thought it was due to a more flexible frame and put a exercise pad under it to keep it in place. On 4/9/2014 it became so unstable it was unusable. I found the weld holding the plate which attaches front stabilizer to the frame were defective where they had cracked between the weld and the frame metal. Judging by the rust around these cracks I would say these welds were defective from the start and were a manufacture defect. Contacted Gold's Gym but they said they could not do anything since the unit was 2 months out of warranty. So much for standing behind your product.
It took my husband and I 5 hours to put this hunk of junk together. After 3 uses it screams at your every move!!! Don't waste your money. Spend a little more and buy something nice.
