I've only had my Trainer for a week or so but I love it! It was fairly simple to put together and all the pieces were clearly marked. It's super quiet and the resistance settings and exercise programs offer a wide range of settings.
The ProForm hybrid trainer Pro is better than I expected. You do have to assemble it which takes a couple of hours but the instructions were easy to follow and well thought out. The build quality is great for a machine at this price level. The only thing I would like to see improved is the digital display screen. It's hard to see with no backlight in a dim room. Also it runs off batteries D cell batteries. Who buys those anymore. You can buy a power adapter but of course that would be an additional cost. Overall it's a wonderful machine for the money.
Great machine! Runs Quite, was delivered to home with no problems,easy instructions which a few steps requires two persons to assemble. Like the display functions and ease of use, the transition from elliptical to bike mode is simple, comfort of use is exceptional! Very happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a elliptical / recumbent bike.
I shopped around and Walmart had the best price for this particular unit. It was easy to assemble and works very well. I like that it has two options of exercise in one unit. It runs extremely quiet. I purchased the external plug wire for the console. I had a Pro Form elliptical unit before and had batteries and they are a pain. I would definitely recommend this unit and would tell a friend to look at Walmart for the best price.
I went together well, good instructions, but took quite a while. The last part was put the seat on, It was hard to get to the screws that hold the seat on, That took a long time. Quiet , smooth machine. I never used an elliptical before and didn't know how fast I was supposed to go. I couldn't make 2 minutes before I was out of breath, so I slowed way down and now I do 15 minutes. I'll have to get used to it. The bike is good. No problems so far. The pulse checker is not accurate at all, but thats ok.
Took some time putting together, if you have someone to help you with certain parts. Instructions were simple to follow. All the parts were present. Was disappointed as no visible damage to the box , but there was 2 cracks in the plastic part of the frame and right pedal weight was broken off. Only had for a few days but is already helping reduce stiffness in lower back and legs.
This Elliptical/Recumbent Bike is a wonderful 2 for 1 product when it comes to working out, especially for the price. Changing out between both is a great workout!!! On the flip side; it took me almost 3 hours to assemble since I had to put it together myself (59 year old female). This includes unpacking, which you would have thought I was trying to get into Fort Knox!!! The company could have assembled more of this prior to sending it out. Also, remember to grease all of the parts extremely well as instructed, otherwise it will squeak after 4 days of use!!! I'm purchasing the Adaptor so I don't have to use batteries in the display, which is a bit dim! The only other thing is the cup holder is a bit small.
Packaged excellent. All parts are wrapped well and the nuts, bolts and allen wrenches were all numbered per the step they related to in the instruction booklet. Went together in two hours and I had myself and a friend help put it together. Only part that is not well labeled is the handle covers and caps which are placed inside, but easily figured it out after a slight misstep. Good weight and sturdy when being used. Speaker and display are easily read while being used. Can go from elliptical to bike literally in less than a minute. Came on time and as described. Purchased a floor mat to place under so trainer is not on carpet and the ac adapter so did not need D size batteries.
I have had this for about six months and it's not bad but after using it a couple times in the bicycle mowed the break would come loose and the seat would slide forward. Dish really created a sudden stop to my exercise work out due to the fact that I'm 6 foot tall and I said we dropped about 4 inches suddenly almost put my knees in my chest Contacted support and they told me that which underneath could've come loose so I had to disassemble the whole seat in order to check the wedge out which was a solid object. Also as you're using the bicycle mode switch shifts left and right go to the looseness of the wheels underneath there which also contributes to the brick coming loose. Was able to fix it by installing wooden wedges jamming it in place . Also when using bicycle mode I can't see the screen unless you got a light shining directly on it Install portable light batteries to solve this problem .
Very unhappy I pay over $500 for something and I receive something with broken pieces... I would recommend if you are going to buy this produce to buy it directly from the company.
