I liked the instructions
I do an extreme amout of hiking with my canine friends. Had two replacement knees done and needed to make sure they stay in shape. So nice not having to go to the gym. I do these workouts when I want to do them, I have had this for three weeks and already have racked up over 200 miles (according to the console how accurate I do not know) and I feel great. Did I mention I was 66 years old?
Needed this to improve myself. Good investment
I'm so happy that I made this purchase it's perfect for me because of my bad knees and this makes exercising easier and I'm having a little fun doing it. Putting it together took about an hour or so and you definitely need assistance but once together it so easy to use.
I am an older female with some minor health issues who is trying to stay active and remain fit. My family history includes arthritis and heart disease. Currently, I do not have any issues with my heart; however, I do have some arthritis in my knee. I use my machine at least 3 times a week (sometime more). If I am using the bike, I ride for at least an hour. If I am using the elliptical, I will usually stay on 30 - 45 minutes depending on how my knee feels.
Well made. It has no problem with me at 205lbs. I had to trouble shoot the unit. After three fixes, it works. The tech guys sent three replacement parts. Reed switch, new console, wiring harness. The wiring harness was the last fix, but it worked. The unit seemed to stall when pedaling the recumbent bike, when the foot pedals were even. Not the easiest to use for my wife.
After spending over an hour to put the elliptical together, I was excited to hop on it to try it out. It made a horrible noise and then locked up entirely. After holding for over 40 mins with support, I was told I needed to open the flywheel ( which was completely sealed when it arrived), to determine the problem. Now, I'm a 55 yr old female and pretty handy with a wrench, but there was NO way to remove the pedals to expose the flywheel. Another 50 mins on hold, I finally spoke with a rep who realized I wouldn't be able to remove the pedals. 3 weeks later, a tech was sent out and said a piece of plastic, that had no reason to be there, was wedged in the machine. It now works but the base creaks loudly. Also, you have to sign up for IFit and provide your credit card number before the module (and resistance) will work.
I noticed that the rear crank arms (Part # 24) were rusty during assembly, I put generous amount of provided grease and completed the assembly. The issue is that there is a squeaking noise that appears to come from the right crank arm after I have been on the machine about 0.5 mile and the noise will continue and becomes so annoying that I have to stop. Another issue is when I go in reverse direction, the flywheel makes clicking noise as if there is a bad clutch. This was communicated to Proform service department . I am waiting for response and advice. Will not recommend this to anyone until I get a satisfactory resolution
Terrible product it was broken out of box And took a month to fix because I didn't know how to take apart and replace parts. They need to send tech on new purchases instead of asking customer to do the work. I wish I had my money back
Worst product and service ever! I bought this in early December for Rotator Cuff surgery to keep myself in shape and recover. It took until March 2018 until I could be released to use it for the 1st time. the machine was smooth and really nice for about 2-weeks until the sound started. When sitting and peddling, it was fine but once you stood and use the handles, It made such a loud popping noise, my family complained and it was so loud it was very annoying. My son, out of frustration started looking at it and noticed that the machine actually had snapped apart at the base and it looked rusty. This has never been anywhere wet, I put it in our family room so it was just not built right at all. I went online to get a solution but since I couldn't use it for a few months, when I finally figured out what was wrong, I was out of warranty?!? Don't buy from this manufacturer! When I purchased this online, I didn't get an option for an extended warranty so I am just out my money and have a broken piece of equipment in my family room now. I am very disappointed and will not purchase from a manufacturer that doesn
