I bought this calculator for college and I love it. It is very easy to use and well worth the money to buy!
I bought this for my daughter to use on the SAT and she was very pleased.
Bought the TI 84 then discovered this one. This one can do way more for more advanced classes.
This calculator is the best. i bgot mine when they used clickpads and last year bought a touchpad for it. the 84 plus keypad worked great and i constantly switch between the two, so its like having two calculators for the price of one. the nspire keypad is way mor advanced than the 84 keypad but dosnt offer alot of programming functionality in its basic programming. if you want to make top quality, high graphics games or programs, lua scripting has been found on os's 3.0 and ti acknowledged this and has a conversion tool and plan to release an sdk in 2012. over all ti nspire is superior in math and science and i highly recomend it.
Excellent product, especially for the price of less than $60, delivered to my door.
I bought this calculator but did not immediately open it. Since some of my students use it, I bought it to familiarize myself with it. Now I have discovered that the TI-84 keypad is defective, right out of the new packaging. It was stored, unopened, in a drawer. Never abused. The other keypad is fine. While the calculator came with the TI-84 keypad installed, the hard-copy manual does not include instructions for this keypad. I cannot locate the receipt and I am certain that the warranty has expired.
this calculator is useless. almost $150 dollars (including tax) it does not do out many problems because it is not a CAS (computer algebra system) if you are going to buy a calculator for college buy the TI-NSPIRE CAS OR CX CAS. calculators that do not even do out certain problems because they do not have CAS installed into them should not even be on the market. so once again, unless you like to blow money. DO NOT buy the TI-NSPIRE with touchpad.
