Nice for the price. Have had Tracfone since 2005 with zero quality problems. My BLU View 2 was locked to Tracfone which made setup a simple process! Tons of storage for apps, lots of features! Could not be happier!
I use this phone for non carrier services as a mp3 player, to play games and also to watch YouTube. Its handy to have as a entertainment device.
pretty great phone even almost totally destroyed smashed screen and water damaged it still works and even powers on
lots of great apps, scrolling weather alerts, easy to learn if you've had androids. sound not as good, no micro sd slot, some apps simplified. but a NICE phone for the price and a $7 a month plan. never buy the old flip phones. sim card and serial numbers should be stamped on the manual
I bought the phone online. it wasn't unlocked like it would have been if I had bought it at the store and scanned it. I couldn't get the phone to activate. I am taking it back to the store. Tracphone customer service was no help in trying to fix the issue.
I gave this one star because it was supposed to arrive much later than it arrived. I received a message indicating the item would be arriving earlier and I was thrilled because I needed it as an emergency. Unfortunately when I received it I started to set it up but ran into an issue with the phone being recognized. It wasn't able to be identified no matter what codes I entered. I contacted Tracfone customer support and they tried to help me set it up but encountered the same issues. They then questioned whether I had in fact purchased the phone to which I provided all of the information with respect to the purchase date, amount paid and shipping details and upon further investigation they came to the conclusion that the phone was never scanned at a store therefore would not allow me to activate it. I was dumbfounded but the representative indicated that it happens a lot of times specifically with Walmart. She advised me to return the item to the store for a refund or an exchange %26 assured me they would not give me a hard time. Unfortunately when I went into the store they did give me a hard time about restocking fees and opening the product I explained to them what happened and how I had every intention to keep it but that Tracfone themselves advised me it was useless as it would not activate without being scanned at a store and I confirmed with them that I would not incur a penalty for this error which was not my own. It took some convincing and talks with two different associates before they would accept it but because it was a marketplace item I had to go to FedEx now to have it shipped back. It was too much of a hassle and not worth any of the time this took. I ordered the same one and paid a little more on another e-commerce and received the item quickly and set it up immediately with no issues. Please be aware that if you purchase it online it might not be able to get activated. Save yourself the headache and purchase from the store. The phone itself is nice, not anything spectacular but good for what I needed it for and simple to use.
Beware of what you order online from Walmart. Spent almost $200 on a order and $50 of that was shipping. They delivered 3 of the items from the store and charged me another $9.95 to deliver that. They didn't properly scan the phone, so when I tried to activate the phone, I was told they couldn't activate the phone because it wasn't properly scanned. After I paid $9.95, I had to get on a City bus to take the phone back, get a refund and buy another phone. Bus cost me a total of $4. And Walmart had the nerve to ask for a tip for the driver of the delivery. still waiting on one more thing from the order,that was placedl on 8/11/23 and today is 8/24/23.
this phone is really not worth buying you have constant problems with it and it doesn't last very long
Utter garbage. I had the phone for two weeks, and the screen is dimming and flickering and is extremely hot. This phone was NOT dropped or misused in any way. I had to return the first phone because it couldn't be activated. Do yourself a favor, and don't bother.
phone was not scanned properly so unable to set up. had it delivered with Walmart plus. so need to try again once the receipt is found or try to get back in the store. it was a gift and its difficult for me to get out. disability and lack of transportation.
