Very fun, easy to learn. If you are breaking it, you are not using properly. Fun for all ages, had mine 4-5 years w/no problems. Use it several times a year, at home, at the lake. Great alternative to traditional horseshoes which we also love but easier for the kids.
We bought this item a few weeks ago, and played it the same day. Our children were able to play it in their room and we played it with them outside. It is harder than it looks to get the washers in, but it's fun trying. It's similar to horseshoes or other toss games, but easier to carry around and you don't have to worry about getting any corn bags wet. It's also easier to set up, than the other games. We found this game at several other stores priced 40% higher than Walmart, and we shopped around until we found the best deal(at Walmart). We enjoy the game and I'm sure you will too!
My husband just loves this "game". It is very well constructed and extremely portable. We have taken it to a few "tailgates" and everyone had a lot of fun playing the game. (It is good for all ages, from the youngest to the oldest);very user friendly. By the way, Wal-Mart had the BEST PRICE! All of the other retailers are selling this game at a much greater price. Thanks Wal-Mart!
If you are from the midwest or south, you probably already know about this game. This is a GREAT game that the entire family can play! We recently played this at a family get-together, and we had everybody from age 6 to age 80 playing. It's a portable version of horseshoes and can be taken just about anywhere! It is well-made and a great value. I've given away 3 of these as family gifts~I added painted wooden washers for indoor play and a 20ft length of baling twine wrapped around a stick so the kids can use it for easy distance measuring. You won't go wrong with this game~FUN<FUN<FUN!!!
Have used it a few times this summer with fun results. I bought this as a replacement for the beat-up version I originally built myself for fifty dollars. Although it was only twenty dollars at wal-mart, the lighter plastic coated washers and thinner boxes and tubes were less durable and accurate. Overall a great buy, but not as nice as the real metal and solid wood version.
I bought this particular brand because my brother has one and we got hooked on playing the game. It seems pretty well made so I am hopeful that it will hold up. We played 2 games with it so far and that is too soon to tell if it will be durable. At this point I would recommend it.
this is a great game for adults and kids alike but the quaulity for the money we paid was very disappointing the bottom of the box acually fell off after using it one time very disappointed love the game never had a problem with walmart products before
This purchase completly feel apart within the first two times. I'm very surprised Walmart carries this product.
I ordered this item thru the website and received it on July 3. On July 4 we used it at a holiday BBQ and after the first few tosses the thing busted. The center ring broke completely off and I returned the next day to our closet WALLMART. I don't recommend ordering this washers game.It is not durable at all.
The plastic pipes came off the board after a few uses. There are several screws used to secure it, but they are only drilled in about three threads into the wood. The washers are made of plastic and are too light, so the game is very challenging because the washers float around when you throw them.
