Stoneyfield's yogurt is consistantly perfect for putting on deserts and mking breakfast parfaits with. It is the go to non-fat additive that makes the meal additions scream out with a flavour bang. The price is right and the quality is always top-notch. Shelf life is above average too.
This yogurt is low fat, low sugar, deliciously smooth and creamy. Absolutely love love love this brand of yogurt. The plain allows one to add a variety of fruits or nuts to enhance Its subtle flavor while keeping control over the caloric content! One of my top picks for a creamy yogurt with a smooth loose consistency. Easy to use as a savory topper, just add green onions, garlic and pepper to liven things up a bit... mmmmm. Enjoy
The plain lowfat yogurt is delicious right from the container. Sure, it's great in a smoothie, or on fruit, even on waffles. I'd eat this as a dessert, over most ice creams. I'd buy and eat it more often, but only 2 stores carry it.
This is my all time favorite and go to for cooking and also for breakfast. Its very versatile for making creamy sauces and dips but with a fraction of the calories that heavy cream or even half-and -half provide. Its smooth and creamy and I love it for Mediterranean dishes and specially!
I must be Stonyfield's first customer, ate their whole fat plain for decades, now have to cut fat and thankfully their lowfat plain is not that different. I happen to like plain yogurt and it's totally versatile - cut the sugar out, throw in some berries, plain applesauce, fresh lemon or lime, or couple drops vanilla, small amount of honey, you'll get used to it and one day sugared yogurts will be way too sweet. My kids loved the vanilla and banana, I'd like lowfat lowlow sugar versions. You can use plain in ragouts and Indian sauces, I wear by to leaven pancakes, as a masque, strain through cheesecloth to make like a cream cheese. Stonyfield has light fresh smell and taste, light tang, not sour creamy like mid eastern yogurts.
All of the Stonyfield yogurts are great. I find this larger tub easier to put into smaller containers which is more cost efficient for me and the kids. The plain is great because I can flavor it with fresh fruit. So I know that they are getting a healthy staff to the day.
Occasionally I'll check my diet for sources of added unnecessary sugar and yogurt can get pretty high up there. I switched to plain yogurt and this is my favorite for lunch. You need a little fat to balance the tang in my opinion, but I enjoy Stonyfield for the smooth creamy texture.
One of my go to plain yogurts. I love adding the sweetness and flavor myself with fresh honey and fruits so this is a great choice for me. Just the right amount of tangy and fairly priced.
It's okay for me. The texture was some liquid. Unfortunately not my favorite. Although love it is organic and good for add to smoothies but not to eat in a bow with honey. Probably better to mix with fruits. No tasty to eat by itself, although I love to eat plain yogurt alone.
I have bought these tubs for many years but I stopped about a month ago because I just can't keep throwing away these single-use plastic tubs. They are not recycled in any meaningful numbers anywhere in the US. So I'm making my own yoghurt, using milk from paper cartons (it is super easy). I hope Stonyfield takes responsibility for their plastic pollution.
