As good as the original for much less

We’ve had the original dohm for years and needed a second one, but we saw this new “uno” option for under $30. Having now used it, I can’t imagine ever paying close to $50 for the original dohm, since this item is basically the same thing. Both are great sound machines. The difference is that the uno only has one sound setting (vs 2 on the original), and the slider for quiet-to-loud controls both the sides and the top (vs two separate controls on the original). What this means is that you have less ability to customize the sound. But the difference is minimal at best- it’s just as loud as the original dohm, and it’s nearly as quiet. The slider gives plenty of flexibility in moving from quiet to loud, and I honestly can’t figure out why you’d ever buy the more expensive item.

Fabulous!

I LOVE this machine! The sound helps me relax and sleep soundly. This is my second one, purchased for my children's room. It is so much better than machines with prerecorded sound. Choose from the sound of muted air flowing, to a much stronger flow. It is SO comforting.

Pink Dohm!

I've used a Dohm sound machine for 20 years, can't sleep without it. I happened upon a pink Dohm, and couldn't resist it, because I have just finished redecorating my bedroom. It's pink.

I love this machine! It's got a simple job to do - a relaxing, consistent, white noise - and it does it well. No need to go back to using a regular fan again! Makes for comfortable background sound while sleeping, and sound level is easy to adjust.

Great item, defiantly take the screws out of the bottom and check the motor screws inside. I had loose screws on all three that I bought. They had a rattle upon first operation and that's what prompted a closer look. Easy fix and love them now. Thanks!

Not helpful for office to cover voices

Not loud enough. Does not block voices. People in the hallway can hear conversations in my office even though the white noise machine is places at the door. This might be good in the bedroom for sleep but not in the office

only one setting

I had two of these and left one at my sister's so I ordered a new one. The older ones had two power settings but for the same price the new one only has one setting. I liked the options.

Breaks and a waste of time

Bought one and it was great then broke 2 months later, used the warranty for another that broke 6 weeks later. Waste of time
