I bought it as a gift, and it was a good choice.
I have 3 grandchildren that love musical instruments. A pack of 3 harmonica...how brilliant! I am no harmonica expert, but these have a very nice sound! The kids LOVE them, especially the 4 year old! The price and site to store is an excellent value. I am hooked on site to store! Thanks Walmart!
Bought for gifts - don't know that much about harmonicas but was impressed with how they look and sound - good value for the money and think the kids will love them!
Great value for the beginner!
I had always wanted to try the harmonica. This 3 pack was pretty affordable and the harmonicas work pretty well. That said, the case had to be Febreezed as it has a strange, unpleasant plasticy smell to it. If this is your first harmonica, don't purchase this three pack. The harmonicas included are in the key of C, G and D. Unfortunately, virtually all of the beginning harmonica music to be found on the internet is in the key of C. I have used the C harmonica until the paint has worn off, but have only used the G a few times and the D hardly at all. My only other complaint is that they are bit small for my hands. I am planning to upgrade soon. However, these are fine harmonicas for the money. At ~$5 each, they are much better than throwing money away on the really cheap ones and then wondering why its so hard to play the harmonica. I would advise people new to the harmonica to just buy a decent single harmonica in the key of C.
My little nephew saw my harmonica when they visited. I played it for him. He tried it, and got a kick out of playing it. (He made the moves like he was playing for an audience. I guess the fact that we would clap at each interval didn't hurt either). He really took to it! So I bought him these for his birthday. His mom says he is really enjoying them. And he doesn't treat them like a toy. Next time he comes over he's gonna play them with me. Maybe we'll start a band.
I bought this for my 17 mos old boy who happens to enjoy it as its pretty lightweight and easy for him to grip. Would recommend strongly.
If your just learning, this its a great set to start with. I am new in learning the , but after a few days of practicing.... One, of the harmonicas stopped working . It sounds terrible. If you really want to play pick up a 15 to 30 dollar harmonica.
