I am new epilator user and I did not know what to expect from it. I heard about of complains regarding pain; however, It was not painful for me even the first time. I read that if I took a tylenol one hour before using it, it would not hurt. I did not and it worked but the second time I tried without taking a tylenol and it was still painless. I am not saying you wont feel anything because you will but it is not as terrible as other users make it sound. I also read complains about its battery life. I am not so hairy so I have been able to use the epilator with one charge different times. Overall, it is a good product. I just wanted the epilator but the shaver is a great complement. Now I can enjoy the summer without having to worry about unwanted hair.
Had one before. Love it. Easy to use and very effective in hair removal.
This razor, in my opinion, works the best out of most others on the market. Shaving my legs is very time consuming. This panasonic shaver has a good battery life for using anywhere in the home. Pivoting head works great on any type of skin & leg shape,(mine are kinda bony). The first time or two, it stung a little, but went away quickly, & was well worth it. I only have to use it once every couple of weeks. If mine broke today, I would buy the same one again. Definitely recommend this razor even for sensitive skin.
Pros 1. It does last longer than 30 minutes...of course, I charge it for over 24 hrs before each use. 2. Yes, it does hurt...anyone who thinks it won't, shouldn't try using this. 3. The wet/dry feature is very nice! I do think it works better/easier in a bath situation, because the pores are open. 4. It's a good price/value. Cons 1. Has a hard time with the smaller/thinner hairs. 2. It does seem to take a little while to pull the hairs out...but overall, after several uses, I think it's done a good job. ------------------------------------------------------------ 4 Stars Overall--cause there's always room for improvement
Generally it is a good product. I bought it mainly for the underarm hair. It works better than shaving if you can endure the pain. I am totally ready for the summer and not afraid of wearing any sleeveless clothes.
I mostly bought this because of the two in one aspect. I needed to replace my epilator and the price for the shaver/epilator was the same as many good epilators. The head is a little small, so I feel like it may take longer than on with a wider head and more tweezers, but other than that, I love the charger feature and the wet/dry option (although I haven't tried it wet yet).
I bought the Panasonic Epilator almost 3 weeks ago now. I think its a wonderful product. I usually have to shave with a razor every other day. I used the epilator the first and second days I had it. (I have leg hair that grows at different speeds.) I didn't need to do it again for almost 3 weeks. I thought that it wasn't painful at all on the bottom part of my leg, however, when I tried to use it on the top of my leg, underarm, bikini area, or any where that had really fine hair, it was super painful. I like to think I have quite a high tolerance to pain, but it hurt. I am getting use to the bikini area and the under arms, but anywhere that has fine hair is just too painful. One other thing that I noticed, I am prone to getting slightly ingrown hairs on my legs every once in a while and this last time I noticed I had probably 15 or so. However, I love not shaving every other day! Its a really great buy. I personally haven't tried the wet feature yet.
Great design, but as epilator not so strong. taking a long time to take care of one area. Not too much pain, compare to waxing. Personally, I wasn't interested in shaver. For easy epilation, I would recomend this product, cause it is easy to use, and nice design. but for myself, I need stronger machine. Still searching for the good one....
This product replaced my 10 year old epilator and although it gets the job done, it comes up short. The good: Once this product is charged, it's cordless and can be taken anywhere. It can be used wet or dry. It has two speed settings and it comes with two changeable heads. An epilation head with a skin protector and a shaver with a bikini comb. Hair grows back slower and thinner. The bad: the product cannot be used while it's charging. When the product is used in the shower, it will only work with a shower gel. No soap or shaving cream. If the hair is too short or too long, the epilator wont be able to grab it. Sometimes going over an area multiple times is necessary. The skin protector seems completely useless. It may be in the way of the epilator thus preventing it from being close enough to the skin to grab the hair. The only way around this problem is to do touch up sessions once or twice a week. Although this product has some bad qualities, so far it is the best epilator I have come across.
Don't waste your money on the the wet/dry functionality. The shaver attachment is not very effective compared to other models I've used. The epilator head is narrow and inefficient but the design is great. This is the least painful model I've used and the design prevents the grippers from grabbing skin and provides a smooth stroke while being agile enough to move over natural contours.
