Bought this Panasonic ES8109s for my dad and he LOVES it.. very smooth shave, lots of great features. Walmart has the best price out there, too.
I've been using Norelco shavers for years, but when the top two drive shafts failed prematurely on this last model, I decided to investigate options. I did alot of research on different types and models, but decided to give this a go. I'm impressed, it cuts easily as good, if not better dry and is outstanding wet! I use a bit of baby powder while dry, and this prevents any irritation and gets really close without burn. The cleaner is absolutely perfect, although is a little noisy, I don't hear it much anyway, cause i'm out the door. The drying system works so efficiently, that you can use it right after the cleaning process is done. I will buy another one of these, if I ever need to again, IF!
I returned a Braun 4775 TR1 to Walmart and decided to spend $40 more for the ES8109s. It was worth it! The shave is incredibly close and I like the ability to do a wet shave, which I believe gives a closer shave. Dry shaving when I am sweating is difficult, but now this will no longer be an issue. The quality is very good and the shaver performance is outstanding. Some people claim it takes to time to get used to the shaver, but my skin was used to it after the first shave. Truly a product that delivers.
this is my second purchase of the same product. I passed My old one to my son ( to keep him from borrowing mine) they are compatible so each charger unit can be used with either razor. Provides close shave & doesn't have that bad odor of other shavers (because its cleaned automatically)

I've tried several electric razors in the past and always ended up returning to blades. The ability to use an electric shaver in the shower is the absolute best way to shave.

I had a different panasonic shaver i purchased about 4-5 years ago. Similar model. This one cuts really close. I can't imagine a better shaver out there compared to these panasonics. And it comes with the cleaner too.
Works well in water.
Never used a wet-dry before. Felt great in the shower but kind of frictiony when I used it dry. Might have gotten used to it but the shave was just not as close as with a Norelco rotary I was side-by-side comparing.
