I purchased this for my husband who is just an old-fashioned guy. He hates cordless shavers that you have to keep recharging all the time. His previous shaver was a Norelco with a cord also and it lasted over 10 years. When it finally died, we found this one on-line and he was just thrilled. He says it runs just fine. Gives a nice, clean shave (No nicks) and is very pleased with it.
Have used many different razors in my life,but this is one of the best!It runs quietly& does the job I want done effectively.The price is sensible& it cuts smoothly & quietly.
I purchased this product in 5/2010 and have not regretted it. I've been using a razor blade on my skin which was leaving it irritated. Thing I needed to switch to an electric shave for a dry shave. I bought this shaver and discovered that I’ve made the right decision for my skin has responded miraculously. My skin irritation has cleared up nicely and I’m still getting a close shave. Although, I thought I was buying an cordless shaver but I am fine with what I now have just the same. Thank you Norelco and Walmart.
NICE ITEM THAT PERFORMS WELL AND FOR THE PRICE YOU CAN'T BEAT IT. WOULD DO IT OVER AGAIN.
My husband said it is the best electric razor he has received. Also, Walmart sent the item very fast. Very pleased with the purchase.
I think the cord is too short. Other than that it is a very good product. Had problems with shipping, but Walmart sent out a secord razor, when the first one was not delivered on time.
This is a basic corded shaver with three circular cutting heads. It also has a trimmer which is not very effective. The shave is not very close but my beard has not yet been 'conditioned' to electric shaving. Occasionally it 'pulls' a hair (ouch!) but overall the shave is comfortable. It is reasonably fast compared to regular razor shaving. I don't know yet how long the shaver head will last as I've only had it for 2 weeks. I only shave every two to three days so that probably affects my shaving experience. When using this shaver it is necessary to have a light touch or you can get abrasions from too much pressure. The more you go over the same area the closer the shave. It definitely works best with the pre-shave power from Remington.
I surprised myself figuring it would be at the back of the cabinet in the bathroom within 2 weeks. Had it now for probably a month plus now and use it just about everyday. Relatively quiet in use, the 3 rotary heads are by far better then those straight headed(?) electrics. Only complaint I have is that the cord could be a tad bit longer
It works quite well. I'm pleased.
I didn't realize the shaver had to be plugged in to use it. It works very well but doe not allow you to be mobile.
