No more going over the same skin again and again. The SatinPerfect removes the hair the first time. This product works great!
Seems to work very well. Only used once and still pretty much hair free. MUCH better than the old time epilator I used years ago. Easy to use and seems to last a long time. Relatively painless.
great product
I was reluctant to try the new style epilator with the "tweezer effect" because I used to have an Epilady with the rotating spring and it seemed like a more effective way to remove the hair. I think this epilator works fairly well. I'm not sure how it compares to the old Epilady, I believe it requires going over the area more times, takes longer to use and may pick up a bit less hair. But I am happy with the product since Epilady no longer seems to be available. I have not tried any other epilator products currently on the market to compare this one with.
i tried many brands of Epilator before. i cannot wax. waxing leaves me with bumps, hives and all over effects of sensitive skin. Philips is the only Epilator that lasts. my last one was purchased 10 years ago and worked for years like a workhorse with no malfunction. only reason i upgraded was hoping this new one will be faster to use and will save me time. boy was i right. i love this item. Using the item on speed 1 best for sensitive skin. only improvements needed are: 1. Opti-light - wish i could turn off or omit. 2. Speed 1 & 2: have to cycle through 3 buttons to turn off. annoying, wish each speed had on and off.
This epilator was purchased as a replacement for my old Emjoi Optima. The SatinPerfect epilator does not compare. My biggest problem with the SatinPerfect is that it leaves lots of hairs behind, even with multiple swipes. My Emjoi would get nearly every hair out with fewer swipes and was less painful as well. Maybe it's because Emjoi has the dual opposed tweezer rows. I don't know. I tried flipping the Satin Perfect upside down while using it to get more hairs, and this helped a little. I use an epilator on my underarms only, and I loved my old epilator until it broke after 5+ years of use. If this is your first epilator purchase and you don't like it, please try Emjoi...don't be discouraged by a product that underperforms.
