I really love the Sonicare DiamondClean toothbrush, but my only gripe is that the on-off button gets in the way sometimes and makes me prematurely turn the brush off. I never had that problem with any of the other Sonicare toothbrushes that I had before, but must say that this one cleans way better than the others. It seems the Sonicare toothbrushes just keep getting better and better. I first started using them over 10 years ago when my dentist recommended it and have been using Sonicare ever since.
I purchased the tooth brush years ago when it first came out and that one finally died. So this is my second one. I love this tooth brush. I like that they have the different color options too. Your mouth is so clean after brushing you will never want to use a regular tooth brush ever again.
The return-on-investment (ROI) for the premium market price for thePhilips Sonicare DiamondClean Sonic electric toothbrush is definitely worth the investment. Using the Sonicare with a top-shelf whiting dental paste has noticeably removed the tinted shade and made my teeth brighter. Additionally, the power of the Sonicare deeply cleans my gums, my tongue, and the back of my teeth. I am impressed with the quality of the product and the dental results from using the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Sonic electric toothbrush. I purchased this Sonicare at full retail cost, therefore, I am not being compensated for this product.
I hate going to the dentist. Last time I went I was told I needed deep root planing. Of course I put it off. I ordered this toothbrush in the hopes of avoiding the root planing lol. Exceeded my expectations! I had receding gums that are now returning! All the biofilm is gone, my gums don't bleed anymore. No wonder the ADA doesn't put its stamp on ANY electric toothbrushes, who needs a dentist when you have this product! Teeth are whiter too. Already bought another as a Christmas gift. I will never be without this toothbrush.
At first it feels weird but u will get used to this electronic toothbrush! It's very high tech , it's very strong ! I use it morning and night with my water pik ! I recommend to use all of the options .. first clean , whiten , polish , and gum care . Use a small amount of toothpaste.. pea size . It has timer so shouts off than u go the next option .. 10 minutes total but it so worth ur time . I have been using this Phillips sonicare for two weeks and have noticed my teeth whiter and better than dentist feeling ! It is worth the investment for a brighter , whiter , & cleaner smile ! It will improve your gums and whole mouth
This is the third Sonicare (I've been using them since their earliest models and have evolved with Philips Sonicare electronic brushes) This is such a slender, sleek, and advanced model that it makes up for the steep price. I love the matte color (mine is w white DiamondClean), and love how all the settings subtly light up when the brush is turned on. The chargers ( the one to use at home and the one built-in into the carrying case are a blend of style and ingenuity! Two things which I'd like to see in future models: 1) the ability to "on-flight" switch between cleaning modes without having to stop, dry brush, go to a different mode, add more toothpaste and then carry on. For example I like to begin with CLEAN mode and end with GUM CARE. So to avoid the longer process, I memorized the number of times I need to press the on/off button to jump to GUM CARE while I keep the brush in my mouth (3 clicks) ... otherwise I'd have a mess of "brush spits" all over my mirror. Perhaps a pause between settings? 2) a battery which would hold its charge longer. All in all, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase.
I've owned all generations of the Sonicare. The one the Diamond was to replace was the Flexcare. I found the use of the settings on the Flexcare, to be superior. The Diamond HX9392 only has a single button that does everything. I found setting it to deep clean, is problematic. First, you must have the brush in your mouth before turning on. Then you must push the button 4 - 5 times, super fast, to get it to the setting you want. NOT very practical. Keep in mind, all with the tooth brush in your mouth. Two buttons are a must. The square shape works quite well. It also helps as a no-slip device. The power is on pare with the Flexcare. The new brushes seem to clean better then the last generation. Also, the single button, on my HX9392 has gotten hung up in the down position. This, I hope isn't a reacquiring problem. I feel that more Beta testing should have been done.
Nice design and everything. However, there doesn't seem to be any way to mark the brush heads. So we have two people using the product, and two identical brush heads. We're still trying to figure out how to differentiate them so we don't use each other's brush heads by accident. Didn't seem to be any advice in the instructions for how to do that.
This was my second Phillips Sonic-Care Toothbrush purchased for me in addition to buying one for my daughter when she started college. I made the purchase through my dentist office despite my original still working well because this model has gum care & deep clean setting. Unfortunately it hasn't lived up to the quality of my first one (it is still working 100% after 4 years) while new one doesn't hold a charge or maintain adequate power like one with stand (this one has cup) I am extremely disappointed in the quality & design (who thought to have settings where you can see them when too easy to change while in use)
Considering the price I had high expectations. First, no stand for the brush heads. Previous brushes had a place to store the brushes when not in use. Seems cheap to me. The brush has different functions, like massage gums and polish. But the on/off button also changes functions. Try to turn it off - or change functions - and you you can't turn it off quickly - it continues to cycle through functions.
