This covered cake pan is wonderful. Keeps your covered cake moist for days...and if you have cats, keeps them out of it as well !! ( that was the main reason I bought mine ) The Non-stick finish seems to work well, but I always grease the pan any way. This was a great purchase, and highly recommend it !!!
I am in AWE, Blown away by this pan, I just got it home, washed it out, and proceed to make a Tater Tot Casserole, It came out of the oven 20 minutes later, Oooey Gooey, bubbling with melty cheese, and not a single stick spot anywhere, it literally slid out of the pan when I put my spatula in to scoop some out when I was serving!! The finish remains unbrowned and in pristine condition, unlike many, many other pans I have used, I can place oil on the top or food or anything, especially cheese, and it doesn't burn, turn brown, stick. Wipes clean with a paper towel and washes with a little soap and water and a light brushing with a bottle or pan brush. Super durable, just like the muffin tin I bought two weeks ago it is just as awesome.
I work at a restaurant and these are the pans we use for our cakes. I loved them so much I had to have a few for home too!
