I often hike long distances, sometimes strenuous. I am not good at eating while hiking but keeping up your energy level is important. I can easily eat these chews while hiking. They taste like gummy bears. I like the Rasberry, not so much the Strawberry Banana. Would like to try the lemon. One reviewer said that they expire quickly - within 3 months. I purchased mine in April and the expiration date is end of January - next year. This is actually a "best by" date, not an expiration. I am disappointed that the only Walmart on this island stopped stocking this product. I buy them regularly and I really like them. Everyone I share them with likes them as well.

I hike in the mountains, often when it's hot, and often for good distances. Like one of the other reviewers, I often don't eat much while hiking even though I need to. These Gel Blasts are wonderful: I keep a pack in a pocket so I can eat 2-3 at a time while I'm still walking, and I usually keep 2 extra bags in my pack for reserve. Unlike one reviewer, I dislike all the gummy bear-like stuff. These Gel Blasts taste good, they're not messy, and they help me maintain my energy while hiking. My greatest disappointment about them is that our local stores seem to all have stopped carrying them.
Walmart.com price was a great buy, however....product expires quickly (in 3 months). Unless you have a few packs a week. We tend to have one or two packs weekly. A whole box will last more than a month. Otherwise, it's a great energize snack.
