I purchased the fish oil for hair growth and heart health. It is too soon to tell of it is working, as this is my second week using it. The bottle itself has a weird odor, which is not present on the capsule. The capsule is quite large, but the shell on it makes it go down smoother with minimal water. There is no fishy aftertaste, which was required of me before buying. The only promblem is to remember to take them three times a day.
...as always, WalMart exceeds everyone else on speed and effeciency....they will say it will be here by one date..but it is always here way before no matter what I order...it keeps me coming back....thank you WalMart.....
My eyes are very dry. I read an article that suggested fish oil may help with that. I find that it does help. Tears are made from water & oil & the fish oil makes quite a difference. I still have to put ointment in at night & gel eye drops during the day, but just having my eyes moister has made it easier to read, use the computer & do other things that require clear vision. Before the fish oil I had to turn the resolution up on my monitor but now I've been able to lower it again so that the pages display better. There are a couple of things that you should know about taking fish oil. Be sure to get brands that state they have purified the fish oil to remove any mercury from it Also, a good benefit if you have dry skin, it makes your skin moister from the inside. That's great for dry skin. I have oily skin though & I find that I am using an acne product to take off the oil mid day & washing my hair everyday in the shower. My feet were very dry but are much softer now. I am willing to put up with the 'cons' as the 'pros' outweighs them. :)

I HAVE USED FISH OIL PRODUCTS FOR SEVERAL YEARS. I PURCHASED THIS ITEM BECAUSE OF THE COST. I WAS SURPRISED THAT IT WORKED JUST AS WELL AS THE NATURE MADE. I PLAN ON PURCHASING IT IN THE FUTURE AGAIN BECAUSE OF IT'S COST.
I started my dog on this for a skin condition and it worked. His fur is beautiful and shiny with no more itching or missing fur
I've been using Spring Valley Fish Oil for years and feel it's quality is as fine as products that are much more expensive. It's easy to swallow, digest and leaves no fishy after-taste. My 88 year old mother began using this product several months ago and feels better than she has in quite awhile.
This product EXCEEDS my expectations!!! I've been disabled since birth & tore my ACL in 2007. I had surgery for it in 2008, but I guess due to that & my advancing age, I have constant aching in my knees, that's gotten much worse, to the point I'm in tears sometimes. I read that fish oil is not only good for your heart health, but also for your joints. I can't BEGIN to tell you the DIFFERENCE in my knees since I began taking this fish oil! I can walk my dog & go up & down my steps WITHOUT PAIN! I feel like I could run a race right now!!! I'll definitely continue to take these & have told all my family & friends to try them if they're having similar difficulties.
I've been using this brand of Fish Oil for some time; it beats the other brands in one major way - it does not give us "sushi burps". LOL We appreciate that tremendously. In other ways, they are much alike, but we are sticking with these!
The cost and benefit are great. I also like the fact that there is no mercury, which was a concern for me to take fish oil.
