Being a mother of 2 yr old leaves me no time to go to Gym and workout hence I decided to buy a stationary bike to tone up my lower body. After doing lot of research over the Internet I decided to buy this one. Over all a good value for price. It's been nearly one month now I should say I am having a good work out sofar... The bike is very study and quiet. Took an hour plus to assemble, was bigger than what we'd expected. Initially I heard some weird sound while pedaling but it stopped on its own after a week.(I wonder why?) Even a 6 ftr like my husband can sit comfortably on it. I wish they'd come up with a bottle holder in their future models. Helps to continue working without getting off the bike.
This is a very nice quiet bike. My last excise bike was so loud I had to crank up the volume of my tv to hear the newscast. The pulse monitor is very interesting and fun feature. However the assembly instructions need a little work. Both me and my wife go confuse on where the handle bar attachment went. Also since my wife tried to put the left pedal on right side and the right pedal on the left. I would suggest the company put a "L" and "R" sticker on the main body of bike.
This is the first time I've bought anything like this online and I have to say that overall I'm pleased. The bike is sturdy and relatively quiet. I was able to assemble it in about an hour, but I did need help with attaching the display. I had a couple minor problems, however. One of the 4 pre-drilled holes in the rear base did not align properly and I couldn't even insert the screw. All of the others fit and it doesn't seem to make a huge difference. I would caution that you may encounter the same flaw. I could see how this would be a huge concern if the defect occured at other locations on the bike. Also, the heart rate function doesn't seem to work, so if that is really important to you I wouldn't recommend this bike. Otherwise it works just fine.
Sturdy bike with nice features and great look. Problems: a loud thumping noise from the flywheel while pedalling, the footstraps do not stay secured, and pre-set workout programs do not work. Heart rate function works and nothing was damaged.
