if you want a great workout using a light weight small quiet exercise bike then this is for you. It fits anywhere and I love it for outside pool area. I shopped around and you can't beat it for the price.
I wanted to begin to use a stationery bike to avoid too much pounding on my joints. I got this bike for $85 brand new at Wal Mart and I have now used it for over 6 months with no problem. For me I like the controls that measure calories burned, RMP, and pulse rate. I am a very advanced exerciser and I use the bike with almost every workout. I use it to warm up, cool down or I incorporate use with my weight training and athletic stretch regimens. I love it for days when I just am not "having it all" as an athlete. The bike is very easy to move back and forth due to rollers in front of the bike. It might not be Nautilis but it has been worth every penny I paid and then some!
So far this bike has been very satisfactory in all but one thing. The seat is awfully hard on my tail bone. I am working at finding the right way to sit. But is is easy to use, extremely quiet and I think I am going to be very pleased with my purchase. Through the summer I have it on my screened in porch and enjoy the fresh air, the neighborhood sights and work at becoming slim and trim. HA! At 74, I am just hoping for stronger legs and better overall health.
This product cost more than my gym membership and I couldn't even put the darn thing together!! The nuts and bolts that came with the product did not fit together and by the time I got most of it assembled I realized that the whole thing WIGGLED because nothing pieced together tightly. Finally, after wasting three hours I took it apart and returned it. Thank goodness I bought a warranty. Don't waste your time on this chintzy little over-priced machine.
Can not adjust the tension cable. Cable too short to properly attach it. Will try again. If not, will return exercise bike.
I really wish i would have read the reviews before the purchase. First off, the box was just re-stapled back shut(but they did a good job of making it look unopened), the bike had been put together before, parts were missing, scratches all over it, etc. I was going to overlook that and put the bike together, buy the few screws that were missing, deal with the scratches, but then the cable to adjust the speed of the wheel didnt even reach... save yourself time and money and DO NOT purchase this bike.
worked well for 92 days--belt/cable came off had to buy another bike --not this brand!
It was cheap, that's about all you can say about it. It got through it's 90 day warranty just fine--it broke shortly after that. I'm not happy. I'm not impressed. I will never, never buy a product from Weslo again.
