I'm a fairly average golfer. Distance could be better with the Zip, but I have developed more confidence that I can get these to stop about where I want them to. Since driving is a smaller part of my game, I cut off more strokes than I pick up- net to the good. The covers do tend to scuff rather easily, but I have yet to take a ball out of play for it. And they _are_ less expensive. For those of us who lose an occasional ball, that does help.
