I ran in to get my daughter one of these.
These are great for what they are. As for the conplainers, these are quick and convenient snacks, not gourmet food. They taste delicious with a mild beef flavor and a cheese that is textured more like cheddar than American. Great protein snack that is also low carb for something quick and convenient.
I've always enjoyed slim Jim beef jerky sticks. It's a good snack when you're on a low carb diet.
I know its not good for you and to most it tastes bad yet I love this stuff!
These are really good when you need a quick snack that can give you some energy. No, it's not the healthiest food in the world, but it's got protein which is good! I enjoy these better when they're cold from the fridge.
The beef and cheese was okay, and was within its shelf date. A little bit pricey for what you get.
Slim Jim Beef N Cheese Mild Sticks have a mildly flavored meat stick accompanied by a cheese stick. I struggled to eat the cheese as it was very pasty and left a residue in my mouth after eating it. Also, the meat and cheese were both very oily. I may try other flavor varieties to see if they are all oily.
Even though the date said they were good, obviously the product was old and expired. Changing the date stamp does not make them fresh,
I do not like them & I received old ones. I'm trying to contact CS for a refund.
I love the cheese, but the beef is very greasy & slimy, and there are hard pieces of grissle or fat throughout the beef stick! I always spit them out coz. they are weird and feel like a foreign object in your mouth! It would be better if it had a regular slim Jim meat stick with the cheese, as the greasy meat stick with foreign object inside just gross me out!
