This wallker is a good one to get to help you get around in all situations. It is particularly good when used to walk in areas where there are limited areas of access. Many other walkers are too wide to get around in some stores, restaurants, meeting rooms, etc. Because of the 3-wheeled design, the handlebars can be used in a smaller area, thus allowing more mobility. Raising & lowering the handlebars was a bit difficult, which is the only negative I have for this product.
Excellent for use within the home, without knocking over planters and scraping walls as much as a 4-wheeler. Also, it's lightweight, and much more portable than 4-wheeler because it folds up in one swift motion, even by my 86-year old father. It is surprisingly stable, but as expected not quite as stable as a 4-wheeler. Glad I made the purchase. Now my father doesn't put up a fight against using a walker.
I had been allowing my male ego to prevent me from finally getting the walker I have needed for so long. This little baby is very easy to use, store and transport. It is most helpful in enabling me to get some outdoors exercise and is easy to use - even when walking the dog. Most importantly, the dog isn't afraid of it. I had tried other four wheeled models which were clunky, hard to handle and for some reason terrified the dog. I can cheerfully recommend this product for those who need just a little bit of extra help. For those with serious problems or disabilities, I would recommend consultation with a professional before purchase.
My Mom (91 yrs) has been totally resistant to using a walker - even with chronic neuropathies in her feet and legs. However, she admired this rollater on a trip to the drug store and now calls it her "cart". The pouch is very roomy - can put her bag and other items in it - leaving her hands free to maneuver. Very lightweight, attractive, and easily foldable. Doesn't use it as much as she should but it's a major victory that she will be seen in public with this at all. Great price, quick delivery and pretty too!
I cannot express what a God-send this simple little Rollator has been. It came folded up but completely assembled which made it ready to go. I have to explain that I have both hips seriously damaged, and I do not drive, but walk everywhere for my exercise AND grocery shopping. With that said, I needed something that I could use that helped me walk and serve as a grocery carry-all. The good-looking and large black bag already on the Rollator carries my purse and necessary papers, etc., but I attached in the front of the Rollator the black basket from my bike that I can't ride any longer. The basket is attached permanently now, so dysfunctions the trigger that allows to fold up the Rollator for carrying, but having no reason to 'carry', say as to put into a car, this serves my purpose. The brake controls on both left and right sides of the Rollator are perfect, especially for insuring no rolling when you are on an incline. I like this capability since I tend to force myself to move my legs faster for therapeutic benefits, yet know I have hand controls on the wheels to hold me up and keep me from falling. This Rollator is 100 times better than the four-wheeled walkers, for me. For my pride, I love the look of it not really looking like a 'walker', but now more like a fancy shopping cart! I can take it anywhere, to the library, the stores, and still look 'chic'! LOL
I use a 4-wheel walker outside the house but wanted something a little smaller and easier to fold for use indoors. This 3-wheeler fit the bill. I can tuck it into small "parking" spaces so my husband can move around it also. It is the lightest weight walker of its type that I have found. The pouch is terrific for carrying things from place to place as well. Love the color - flame! Glad I got it! Walmar.com price was the best at the time I was shopping and the Ship to Store option saved me shipping and handling. We go to Walmart anyway so picking it up there was not a problem.
I have purchased this 3 wheel rollator for my father who is 90 years old. He has a regular walker, which is good in the house, but not so good outside. I know that being sedentary is not good and would like to keep him more mobile. The big wheels on this walker allow for walking comfortably outside, even through the grass.
This is such a good aid for walking, I feel so free! I agree with every thing said prev. I am always stopped about this walker, had 1st appt with physical therapy & they were so impressed with it!!! I have 2, one in my car, it is so easy to take in & out, & one in my home, the price is great & no shipping if you pick it up at the store.
Lightweight.Rolls like a dream. Wouldn't complain if the handbrakes fit a bit smaller hand but it's not a deal breaker.Good bang for the buck. Would buy again.
This product operates well, though not as stable as a four wheel rollator. The info says that it is 25 inches in width. However, the wheel bearing stick out more than an additional inch on each side. That means that this rollator is too wide to enter narrow doorways. Other than that, it is okay. Had to return this rollator, my mother could not use it to enter two doorways.
