We bought this for our daughter who is due next month. We haven't changed a baby on it yet. The changing table was a bit hard to assemble. The directions were hard to understand. Once assembled its nice. The drawer is a bit cheap, doesn't open all the way. The color is very dark, doesn't match our cherry crib very well. Overall its good for the price. Nice that it includes the changing pad, although its very thin.
I am 8 months pregnant and put this table together all by myself in about an hour. It's a little bigger than I thought it would be, but that's fine with me. I was worried about it being too red because the baby's bedding has red in it, but once I got it in, it's a good dark brown color - very pretty. It seems very sturdy and looks beautiful in the baby's room! I can't wait to use it!
I've read a lot of negative reviews about this change table and yet I still decided to give it a shot anyhow since it's very affordable and the shape matches the Delta Middleton crib I just bought. Well, they must have upgraded the quality since all the last reviews because absolutely nothing was damaged, it was packaged very well. It's also a very sturdy table. It was a bit finicky putting it together near the end trying to get everything lined up. An extra hand would have been helpful. The best part for me is that the colour matches the Delta "black cherry espresso" crib colour exactly. The only complaint is that the hardware doesn't mount flush and kind of stands out. I think a little dab of black paint should help tone it down. Overall, I'm pretty satisfies with the product.
This is a beautiful changing table, and I have already received compliments. People think it was much more expensive than what I paid. The only draw back was that the design for putting it together was not good. It took quite a while and multiple people to hold parts in place while screwing it together.
It was easy to put this together. The wood is very pretty and its very sturdy. Only thing is that I wish the side were higher, their not bad though. The drawer seems to be a litle loose but still good. This wood seems to be darker than the matching lennox crib that we got, that wasnt very satisfying. Still beautiful wood!
The product looks good it's made with actual wood .the only issue I have is the top portion that the baby is laying on should be stronger,there is a brace to support the middle ,I just feel that this portion should be made with a stronger piece of wood
This product arrived relatively quickly, however had many parts that were not up to par. There was a piece that was scratched and the white bottom of the drawer had a sunburst crack in it. I plan on calling the company and asking for replacement parts. The color was beautiful and the piece itself was beautiful. My advice would be to order plenty ahead of time so that you can check out the parts and have time to order new ones before you need the piece. I did not do that so I will have to take it all back down to replace the parts. It takes two people about 1.5 hours to put it together. Live and Learn!
We got this changing table along with matching glider and dresser from Storkcraft. We had no issues with the glider and dresser, but had to return the changing table. One of the pieces was put together incorrectly by the manufacturer which made it impossible to put the table together. It took two weeks to recieve another one and everything was going well until we went to put the drawer in. The table comes with metal braces to screw underneath the changing table and two shelves to make it more sturdy, which is nice, but the tracks for the drawer (which are already attached by the manufacturer) were put too far up and the drawer would not close because it was blocked by the brace. My husband had to drill new holes and lower the tracks so that we could close the drawer. Also, the wood is extremely soft and the top of the drawer was badly scratched when it bumped the metal brace. I was able to touch it up with a stain pen but overall this changing table was a big hassle. It functions well now that it is put together and looks nice with the other furniture but I feel it was far too much work for the price.
THIS IS A VERY NICE LOOKING CHANGING TABLE! IT IS VERY STURDY AND I FEEL VERY SAFE WHEN MY BABY LAYS ON IT WHILE CHANGING HIM. HOWEVER WHEN WE PUT IT TOGETHER THE SCREWS THAT CAME WITH IT DID NOT FIT INSIDE THE HOLES SO WE HAD TO BUY OUR OWN AND USE SOME WOOD GLUE. ALSO THE CARDBOARD STRIPS THAT HOLD YOUR BABY'S NEEDS AS FAR AS DIAPERS, WIPES, LOTION ETC........IS NOT DURABLE AND CONSTANTLY FALLS THRUGHT THE SLOTS. IT WILL ONLY HOLD DIAPERS...AND NOT THAT MANY!
It arrived with 3 pieces damaged. On contacting the phone no. provided, they would only replace 2 pieces, and give a touch-up pen for the other. It was going to take quite a while, too, and by now the baby was coming early. We didn't want to pay full new price for a touched up change table. It was damaged right on the top front center and would have looked terrible. The picture looks nice. I would have liked to 'see' this, but it was just a big waste of time. I had ordered it 3 months before the due date, and thought I had plenty of time. Not so...We had to return it, no time to reorder by then.
