This matches all of cherry wood furniture in the room and is very sturdy. I love that the storage bin underneath can be used for a toy box later. I love this product!
This was on a cousin's shower registry and we were satisfied when we received and assembled it for her (did get one part replaced by the manufacturer because it was blemished - they did not give us any hassle and apologized profusely about it). Should be great for the first couple years at least. At about 2 to 2½ years of ago though probably the child would be too active and large to lay on it although it is supposed to go to 30 lbs.
Once put together, this table is sturdy and attractive. I didn't like that we had to wood glue a small piece of something back in place, but this may have something to do with how it traveled here. Luckily, this glue back on piece didn't damage the use of the product, make it look back, or cause any great inconvenience.
Overall, this looks nice - the cherry finish. It was easy to assemble, less than half an hour. The changing pad doesn't quite fit (a little big), but I like the railing that goes all the way around so the baby can't roll off. It's also too bad the drawer isn't attached/part of the table, but at least it's on wheels. My only major complaint is that the shelf is a flimsy, fake finish coated piece of plywood that won't hold much weight. The same wood is used for the bottom of the drawer. We'll probably buy a thicker piece of wood, cut and stain it to fit for more strength. I think for over $100, they could have used the same wood for the shelves that they did for the rest of the table. But overall, the table looks nice, and can be used later on as a serving cart or something, if it lasts.
My wife said to get a changing table. This seemed like a manly one, not just for little ladies! Happy with it so far. As a guy, my diaper changing style is different than my wife's and this table is holding up well to my active son and me. Plus I can stuff the bin underneath and dont have to be neat. Occasionally stuff falls off the one open shelf if you stack things too high, but with the bin, it's great because you can just fill it up and nothing falls out. The cherry finish was a little scratched when we got it, but I'm used to that with buying furniture mail order. No biggie. You can order parts online from the manufacturer and they sent it right to our house UPS.
It is a GREAT changing table, and the storage box that rolls out is wonderful. It didn't take a long time to put together at all. The picture makes the cherry color look a bit darker than it actually is... but all in all I would recommend this product to anyone.
There were plenty of scratches and scrapes that seem to be painted over and many of the slots did not line up. Some parts were a different shade than others. Assembly was difficult since bolts and slots didn't line up. However, instructions were easy to understand. Also, the pad that came with the table is slightly oversized. Once we got it together it was fairly functional not too bad but we would not recommend it to anyone.
Assembly wasn't bad and the finished product looks nice, and the drawer will make it even more useful, but being a changing table it isn't meant for long term use and that is somewhat obvious. I do feel like it will be worth what we paid, I am just somewhat disappointed with some of the components. The surface the baby lays on is really flimsy and thin, so is the shelf in the middle. Overall, I wish it were better quality but it'll still look nice and serve its purpose.
When my husband was putting it together this past weekend the dowels broke off very easily, and the presswood was warped when we took it out of the box oh and I was missing 2 screws. Besides the fact it just looks cheap. I kind of wish I picked another changing table. But oh well, live and learn......................
It looks pretty when put together, but the wood finish was very splotchy and the bases of the shelves and the bottom of the pull out trunk were damp and very warped when we got them home. It was very hard to slide them into the grooves as they were not straight. The wood was also scratched on the legs and missing some hardware. Overall I was very disappointed and would not reccomend.
