We purchased this changing pad to replace a very thin one on our daughters crib set. While the crib sets changing table was smaller than the pad (in terms of length), we were able to get it to fit in the space provided without damaging it, which was great. It's much sturdier than the original pad, and is also well padded and protected with plastic covering that allows for easy clean-up if needed. We also loved that it was contoured and had a security belt so that she can't roll off of it easily. Good choice for us!
We bought this before my daughter was born (she's 19 months now) and it has been fantastic! We've never used a cover for it, but I would recommend using one as the seams have begun to tear with use. We need to get another one for my son who is due soon and I really wouldn't bother with anything but this one.
This changing pad must be very comfortable. My grandchild is all smiles when she is lying on it. I wish there were more straps,though--on the opposite side--for securing it to the dresser.
Easy to use while in strange surroundings! My son and daughter-in-law loved it while visiting over the holidays, not having to worry about baby rolling off something! It was also one thing they didn't have to bring with them!
We bought this for our first son 2 years ago, and liked it so much we just bought another for our new baby on the way! It's just a good basic pad. It's standard size so it fits store bought covers great. I also recommend the contoured 3 sides (instead of 2 or 4) - the sides keep baby from rolling out, and the top pad keeps him from hitting hit head or scooting too far up. Because it's only 3 sides it will give you plenty of space for your growing child - my 2 year old still gets changed on this pad, and the open bottom allows for his legs to hang off the edge. The non-skid bottom is great for using on top of a dresser too. Highly recommended!
High quality pad for such a great price. Although I was registered for this item at another store, we didn't get one for our baby shower. So, when it came time to purchase it ourselves - Walmart had the better price!
I like the raised sides and the safety belt, our baby girl is very secure on her changing table. It seems very comfortable, it has a lot of nice padding. The covers we bought fit perfectly.
this changing pad fits my needs. Based on the product description, I expected the grippy surface on the bottom to be grippier than it is. On my surface it slides around. It was an easy fix with some glue and my own grippies.
Great product, three sided option is good but this changing pad is slightly larger than the changing table we purchased. Tight fit but it's functional.
Being a Serta, I was hoping for a good quality product. The pad LOOKS great! The three sides are well-padded and will definitely assist in keeping a child from rolling off of the changing pad. The bottom, however, is very flimsy and practically folded in half when I attempted to put a cover on it. My previous changing pad lasted five years, and although the sides were quite worn, it doesn't fold in half like this new Serta one. I'm disappointed in the overall product due to the fact that the bottom is not very sturdy or supportive.
