I would recommend this to anyone. It was alot nicer than I had expected it to be. Very sturdy. The only complaint that I have is that the changing pad is very thin and ugly, but I'm going to buy another one anyway so it doesnt really matter. I put this together myself in about 1 hour or less. I wasn't really timing, but I'm 7 1/2 months pregnant and did not have a problem at all. It was kinda snug getting the shelves to fit in the groves where they were suppose to, but other than that easy as it can get.
I was quite impressed with how quickly I received this product, it only took 3 days for it to arrive. Its assembly was completed within 30 minutes and was a snap! I love how the shelves are tall enough to fit diaper boxes as other changing tables didn't have this spaciousness. I'm quite satisfied with this product so far.
Easy to put together, the shelves are obviously not meant to hold anything super heavy, but they fit the purpose. I would recommend getting a The Basic Comfort changing pad with it. It fits great and has 4 contoured sides instead on 2, like normal ones. Dressing table feels sturdy and looks great!
I picked this changing table out on my registry, and a friend of mine bought it for me. We thought that it would be easier to put together than the crib but believe it or not, it came in more pieces than the crib did. When it came time to put the middle and bottom shelves on, whoever manufactured this product did not cut out all the notches that needed to be in place in order for the shelves to fit properly. Each shelf was missing 2 notches each. Needles to say we had to measure and cut out our own notches to make it fit. After that it went together fine, it was just not something we had expected. All in all it's sturdy and it looks good, it's very big and functional. It's actually bigger than I thought it would be, the picture doesn't do it justice. Nice size, sturdy, just not easy to put together.
This changing table is taller than I expected, but since I'm 6' tall and new mom is 5'9", that is a good thing. The side supports match the Graco Victoria crib very well and the cherry finish is a "spot-on" match. The pad itself is somewhat disappointing, being very thin, but I have a few ideas on how to improve, and the casters have a tendancy to fall out when lifting to move. Assembly was a snap with no missing hardware or delivery damage.
This changing table is lightweight yet sturdy. It was rather easy to assemble. I have not had to put it to real use yet as my child is yet to be born. There is adequate storage space. Several of the rails broke during my first try at assembly. I contacted the manufacturer's customer service and they were helpful and received replacement pieces in about 5 business days. My second try at assembly was much better.
All in all this changing table was what I expected, however there was a problem with the castor wheels. One side did not have the proper inserts for the wheels to lock into. Sent an email to Lajobi and did not get a respond for a week and the representative stll did not know what I was talking about. Luckily I had already called Lajobi to get the proper legs and they processed the information. They sent the entire sides instead of just sending the pegs. Long story short: if you have a problem with the table, make sure to call and not email.
I had to place two orders for this product. When we originally ordered the product and picked it up, part of the shelf was completely cracked beyond repair. We tried contacting the manufacturer by email and phone several times for two months with no response. We finally decided to return it to the store and go ahead and order another. The second changing table came soon after and was cracked in the same place, but not as severely. My husband and I were so frustrated we decided to try and repair it ourselves, we didn't have time to order another since baby will be here any time now. After a bunch of super glue, we were able to repair it, although we won't be putting anything too heavy on the shelf. It now looks nice and we will be able to use it, it was just a frustrating process. Wal-Mart was wonderful in the return process, but we were highly dissatisfied with the manufacturer. On the other hand we ordered a crib and dresser from the same manufacturer and had absolutely no problems, in fact, they are beautiful pieces.
The product was shipped promptly and the packing showed no obvious signs of damage. However, the quality of the product was poor. Overall it felt flimsy. Also 2 of the preassemebled pieces were damaged at the joints. The table wss however comfortable to work with - the good height made it easy on the back while changing Ended up returning and getting a differnt model from aother store.
I bought this change table and was very unhappy to find it had big cracks in the wood. The table was new out of the box and already ugly. I am very unhappy that the company has not responded to my concerns. I emailed photos with no answer.
