Mother to be asked for it.
This is the perfect gift for a first time or new parent. It comes with so many great items they will need for their little one. My favorites are the nail clippers, the comb/brush, and the tooth brush. These are essential items and I love that they come with a cute bag to keep everything all in one place for easy storage at home or on the go.
We absolutely love this kid!!! We use it daily! The brush is soft and baby safe, my baby insists on trying to use it herself but ends up chewing on it and it's got a hard but silicone covered handle which is great for my teething baby! We also use the training toothbrush daily and used the comb when she had cradle cap. Definitely a must have!
I purchased this for my newborn. I think this kit is very convenient to have. I use the nail clippers, nail file and hair brushes on a weekly basis. It comes with several types of combs and brushes for the baby as well as a thermometer. Very convenient to have in one kit.
This product has everything you need for a good health and grooming kit. Also a great baby shower gift for expecting parents !

This kit comes with many of the non-consumables needed with a new baby. That makes it a great gift. However, I didn't care for a few of the products when compared to other brands and even other Safety 1st versions. The good: easy-to-use clippers, cute bag, sturdy comb, soft toothbrush (although it might be a bit big if you have a younger baby with teeth like I did). The nail files and alcohol pads are a nice touch for new parents too since they're often overlooked. Could use improvement: thermometer was a couple degrees off, the brush's bristles seemed frayed and not as nice as another Safety 1st brush we use. Overall, this is a good starter kit.
Thermometer doesnt work! I tried all kind of ways and waited all lengths of time never gets up to what a normal body temperature should be. Yes, I had it set to Farenheit. The other supplies were noce and the pouch was helpful for storage but i only bought it for the thermometer anf that doesnt work. Beware!
Package came in damaged. The box looked like it was dropped in water. The plastic protection was broken. I've bought one of these packages for each of my babies. The brand is reliable and lasts throughout babys' first year. My review is solely based on the condition in which it arrived. I would recommend that you buy this kit
In the Safety First kit, the Thermometer is not working fine and I went to Walmart instore return, but they haven't taken back the item from me. I am very much disappointed with this order. And also I have a newborn of 45 days old. For him only, I bought this stuff. But, it is not working fine. Please let me know what should I do?
