Love this umbrella. Prettier than the picture.
I bought this umbrella along with 6 matching high-back cushions. I'm very happy with everything. The umbrella is of good quality and I had no trouble putting it up. Mine is a straight umbrella, doesn't have the tilt feature that the other reviewer mentioned. I hesitated to buy the umbrella at first because of the other review I read, but I really wanted it because it matches the cushions I had already purchased. I'm glad I made this purchase.
i like the umbrella for the most part, but the pole looks a little fragile. The last umbrella we had, came with the tables and chairs and lasted ten years. I don't know if this one will last that long... we'll see. Also for the money it cost, I expected a higher quality umbrella. But other than that, it looks nice and has held up for the past month!
This umbrella has caused us trouble since first unpacking it. Once setting it in the base and beginning to crank it for the first time, it stopped halfway up, only to notice that the tilt "feature" only stayed in tilt mode, making you to have to hold it straight to continue to crank it the whole way, then after letting go it then staying tilted even when you do not want it to. Others I have owned have a button in which it will lock it a straight up & down position or lock in a side tilt position, not stay bent and shake in the wind. Very dissapointed in such a poorly made product, especially since I bought everything (chair pads, planters, door mat) based around this pattern and then had to return it.
