This is a great invention. My son loves to play on the computer. The games we buy he can't play on his own, but the games on the internet he can do by himself. But, when on the internet, he will accidentally hit a link, open a new window, try to print something, etc. This gadget eliminates all of that. He can cruise around the websites by himself with no fear of damage to the computer or needing help to get back to where he was. The added bonus is you can set a time limit and when time is up an alarm goes off and the program will not shut down until an adult enters a password so that your little one can not get back to the desktop. I highly, highly recommend this product.
Had a little hiccup with one of the 'fobs' that was corrected with a quick call and fast replacement. Now I cant keep my 5 year old off the computer... The other 2 kids complain. Oh well, I will just have to get another computer.
Gave this to our grandson when he turned 4. He plays with it every day. I was amazed at how he has mastered the use of the mouse and how much he has learned to do with this toy. I think it is wonderful preparation for kindergarten when he will use the computer in the classroom. Five stars for fun and learning !
I got this product for my 4 year old daughter for her birthday. She loves it. I had seen the product on T.V. and was amazed at how inexpensive it was. She plays with it every day and I don't have to worry about her visiting other sites by mistake. Before I got this product she ended up on E-Bay!
I saw the commercial for this product and went and purchased it immediately. My 2 year old duaghter loves it and I do too! It keeps her from interfering with anything else on my computer which was a problem before this product. My daughter has become an expert at handling the mouse and is learning so quickly! SUPER product - a MUST HAVE for anyone with small kids who like the computer.
My 3.5 year old is in love with this and so am I! I can now do dishes while he plays and he can change websites without my help. This is the best toy he received this year and he thinks so as well.
My son is 4 and he loves this toy. He plays it all the time. I think I got it for him when he was 3 or 3.5. It is very easy for him to navigate and it is very educational. He has all the easy link characters as well. I think the price is great (even better now than the $32 that I paid for it - and I didnt think that was too high). I am even thinking of getting him his own computer to play his games on so that he isnt hogging mine all the time!
We are very pleased with this product, it is very easy to understand and the children love it.
I have a hard time grtting my kids off the computer, they want to keep playing! My three year old loves the memory game and my five year old has lots of fun dressing up the dolls and printing them out.
I bought this for my 4 year old son. He loves to play on the different kid web sites but many of them have ads on them and one click he is where he shouldn't be. The launch pad locks all access to ads and to the rest of your computer. It is very easy to install and has great parent controls. You can set a timer and can set the printer on or off. It does have its limits you can only visit the 3 websites it comes with but fisher-price has already put out 3 expanding packs to allow access to more websites.
