I thought this didn't need the charging cord. My mistake for not confirming. I returned this and found another style elsewhere for half the price and it doesn't need the cord. If my cord wasn't ruined I would have just kept it because I dont like to return things. The plastic is thick and it stays nicely against the wall. I like that it has 2 USB holes on the side so its very functional. Good quality product, just a little pricy.
