I have always used Accu-Chek meters since 1999. Previous versions used up batteries faster than this model. But always found them reliable for test results. Found them to be easy to connect to my IOS devices and accu-check apps. The test strips for the Guide are cheaper to purchase and easier to find than previous test strips. I would recommend them for sure.

Accu-Chek Guide products are hard to find anywhere.
I purchased these from Walmart because my son's Medicare Advantage plan doesn't send enough for him to keep his blood sugar under control, and the only pharmacy in Sonora, Texas doesnt carry the strips even though they sold him the glucose monitor. Thankfully Walmart had them in stock and shipped them promptly. Im certain I will be making additional purchases. Thanks Walmart.

I needed to buy additional strips because I wasted about 10 from my new prescription. It was hard to get enough blood, so they would fail and can't be re-used. I cranked the needle to 5 and squeezed my finger. They work fine. As far as I can tell, they are the same as the "prescription" ones. It's nice to have extras, so I can test whenever I FEEL hypoglycemic.
Handy container for the strips. Wish the pricing was better
can't use with my blood tester, i use accucheck tester and i said NO substitute
