I bought this when I hurt my wrist and thumb doing escrima (Filipino martial arts. Swinging a stick a lot, and the particular strike I was practicing really took a toll on my thumb). This support was perfect. Before getting this, my hand would shake a little and my wrist/thumb were so sore that I couldn't write much. After getting this, it got a lot better. The velcro closure was also extremely helpful to me since my wrists are small; the adjustability gave me a perfect fit, and I still use this today if I ever strain myself. I bought this wrist support to wear in water aerobics classes. I had to take a wrist brace off and needed something to "remind" me not to bend my wrist. This support did a great job and held up to the chlorine really well. I still have it for back up if needed again. I recommend this and all the products highly.
I developed tendonitis in my wrist from lifting weights and used this wrist support daily for a couple weeks to help it heal. It's comfortable and not bulky. It fits well and doesn't interfere with my dress shirt cuffs. My only advice is to allow slack around the thumb otherwise it becomes uncomfortable if wrapped too tight because it will tug at the skin between the thumb and first finger. I am a bowler, baker and often online. I use my write brace when I'm throwing my ball down the lane. It gives me support and warmth. When I am baking, trying to stir the mix by hand I use my brace. Sometimes it gets hard stirring without the brace on. And I spend a considerable amount of time online. Working with the brace on lets me surf a little longer. I have been known to wear a wrist brace out so I usually buy 2 at a time.

After starting a new job my wrist began to ache and I felt a burning sensation that would have me wanting to grimace from the pain and frown at my customers as I packed their items at checkout. Being a typist most all my adult life, daily online college courses for three years, and now quick motions with twisting and lifting single handedly moderate to heavy objects is apparently aggravating an undiagnosised carpel tunnel issue. I tried several different types and brands of wrist supports, some cheaper; some more expensive, before buying the ACE Wrist Wrap, this one is PERFECT! The support wraps around my thumb for added support and functionality. It is black so it does not appear dirty like flesh colored or blue supports. The black color also does not stick out like a sore thumb with my outfits [pun intended] :oD I would recommend this support for anyone having deep tissue like pain and soreness with a burning sensation that extends past the wrist, this has really helped me to function with a smile on my face. Smiling is important in customer service positions -grimaces are not appropriate, so i thank ACE for this product! To summarize, this product is Durable, Appealing to the Eye, Washable, Functional, Affordable, and Long Lasting.
I bought this about 6 weeks ago - after each of the 3 times I used it, I broke out in an insanely itchy rash and small blisters which took about a week to go away each time. It did a pretty good job of supporting my wrist, but it's made out of pure evil. To be clear - the product is wonderful. I suspect I have an allergy of some sort. But beware, it's not a fun possible side-effect.
the brace is of excellent quality however the velcro type closure does not stay fastened real well.
Been using these for a couple years now to help alleviate wrist pain while riding my motorcycle. They're pretty much the only thing I've found that I can wrap on the outside of my gauntlet-style gloves, and they basically turn the gauntlet into a soft splint, providing quite a bit of support. Unfortunately they stretch out and the velcro wears out, so I replace them every 6 months or so... with my most recent replacement purchase, like a previous reviewer, I discovered the velcro was recently redesigned, and is now completely worthless. It's seems like they decided to make the velcro hook horizontally only, and now my choices are "flies off at 40mph" or "so tight it cuts off circulation". Way to ruin a perfect product. Hopefully my old one continues to last long enough for me to find a suitable alternative product from another manufacturer.
I bought this 4 days ago. Worn once and noticed neoprene around thumb is cracked and coming apart. I did not attempt to return as I am only doing pickup and not going in stores given pandemic. I would like a replacement or refund.
