I purchased this product because I started working at home. The set up was easy. The desktop has bright colors that are sharp and clear. The computer was an excellent deal. At first I was hesistant about buying the product but after reading all of the great reviews I am so glad that I did. I would recommend this product to anyone.
We just bought this computer and we love it! I hesistated at first because I didn't know much about acer brand, but I am very pleased. We started to buy another compaq until I seen this one and it had more memory and it had the quiet feature and a larger monitor for a lower price! So far so good! You can't even tell it's running! Set up was so easy. I have DSL and it was plugged into the computer when I turned it on the first time and I didn't even have to set up my internet connections or anything! It was all very simple and it's a great product!
I bought this computer 2 weeks ago for business and home use. It works better than I could have imagined especially for the price I paid. Would reccommend this to anyone who is looking for a good computer for a great price. I love it!!!!!!
We bought this computer for casual home use (internet browsing, email, etc) and it's GREAT!! The picture on the screen is amazing and the speed of the computer is super fast!! Windows Vista is a great program and easy to get around!! I'd recomemend this computer to anyone!!
I was looking for a compaq and I saw the acer for less. So I made sure that it had all the features I wanted and it did DVD & CD burner. It even holds my games such as the SIMs 2 and extention packs. I would recommend this computer to anyone for the price and family fun.
If you put this togethor with all the parts of this computer and the monitor it would cost around $580 dollars. So for the price your getting for it is great. The only con would be the power supply which I think is a 250w. So if you want to put a new video card in their (for example) a 8600gt which requires a 350w power supply. You will need to upgrade the power supply or you will be having computer freezes. You can also make this a gaming computer that can compete with $1000 dollar computers for another $150. You will need to buy a 8600gt $100, 400w+ psu $30, 1gb ddr2 memory $20. And you will be able to play all the new games are out on medium to high settings.
this product is great the screen is the biggest that i could find for the price the memory lacks a little but that takes 5 mins and $20 dollars to add 1 gig to make the computer 2 gigs. overall a great price and great computer would buy again.
I recently pruchased the Acer about two weeks ago. The setup was more simpler than my old gateway from years ago. The speed is very good and downloading is simple. I would highly recommend this desktop.
The computer was very easy to put together considering I didn't have any instructions. The only problem I am having is trying to get my speakers to work. They are hooked up and plugged in but I don't get any sound.
This PC has some of everything and pleanty of room to add components as your needs change and grow. Have had it two weeks and it performs flawlessly. I did immediately upgrade the RAM, as the Vista uses most of the resources of the 1gig that comes in the machine. But that is a relatively cheap upgrade and easily done. I have used two of the competitors similar products at work, and find this one to be just as good or better. Runs exceptionally quiet! My teen says it rips and burns music better than other computers he has used. I'd buy it again.
