I have been using the black interlocking floor mats until I saw these online. I thought they looked much nicer in my kitchen than the black one I've been using (which work very well in my shop). I was right! They look great in my kitchen and don't give it a "work shop" appearance! Highly recommended!
Super easy to install and cuts great with scissors. Best of all the foam is very, forgiving about inexact measuring cuts! Love it!
slippery compared to other foam floor tiles; not entirely a bad thing or a good thing.
I got 3 packs of these to add 6x8' of cushioning over hardwood floors for online ballet classes and they work great for that. They are simple to put together and take apart again if needed. Color is a great match for my floor and the dogs and I all find them very comfortable to stretch out on. The only negative is that the dogs claws do poke through the top layer on occasion and it leaves a little hole. Not so noticeable on the light color tiles as the inside foam is also light, but would be noticeable on the dark. Also, the tiles are very lightweight and slide around a bit when dogs take the corner into the room at high speed so I am going to add a non-slip rug pad underneath and see if that keeps them in place. For most people that probably wouldn't be an issue.
Super slippery surface. Cannot walk on them without slipping.
Not adequate as an anti fatigue mat. Slides around and not enough thickness.
