walmart is typically not very detailed on descriptions. ie. i didnt know if it ran on batteries or not or just plugged in. it has batteries, runs on 6AA's. great sound, i hook it up to my laptop's headphone port and listen to online radio out on the patio and at the pool. Very good quality and pretty good range. i have a large backyard and the sound is definately good enough for by the pool or at a grillout or whatever. doesnt interfere with wifi either as far as i can tell. Walmart.com is much cheaper than other outlets i have seen this product at.

The speaker was better than expected. I was thinking the sound would be very "tinny" but the base was super. I'm using it outside for the hot tub and love the portability. I will now use it throughout the house.

Not only does it look good, this speaker packs a good punch. I can't believe it has bass boost and it sounds really good for a low-power wireless speaker. I initially had some problems when I attached it to a radio. It kept cutting off every 6 seconds. It may have been the radio source (it's old) because when I plugged directly to an iPod, the sound was superb. I'm actually looking to buy another one because this unit also has a switch to select a L or R function if you have two of them... Sweeeeeet! This low-power product is highly recommended for your low to mid-end quality sound needs indoors or out!

The product was very easy to install. The transmitter is about 60 feet from the speaker. One disappointment: the speaker doesn't remember the previous volume if it loses power.

Love the mobility of this speaker, there are times when their is a lil buz in sound- but for this price its unbeatable- i wonder how 2 speakers sound together since i only have one- but love the look and the mobility !

Bought this speaker to use on my deck. While the sound quality is not great, it is good and the signal range is impressive. For the money, compared to other wireless speakers, you cant beat it. It does exactly what I expected.

I connected the transmitter easily to my living room stereo outputs and placed the speaker on our screen porch about 20 feet away, and it works fine. The signal was strong and clear, passing through sheetrock and a window. Not much bass, but fine for casual listening.

The range on this speaker was excellent; picked up the signal anywhere on our sizeable lot. Unfortunately, the quality was less so; made every adjustment we could find and still received static and intermittent cut-out. Probably would work very well on a deck or outdoor hot tub or what have you, where the installation was nearer the source, but not very useful for our purposes.

This product really impressed me, it is much smaller than I thought it would be by the picture but still packs a pretty good sound and looks nice. Range is great! Sound quality is better than I expected for the size of the speakers. Only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't remember your volume level, so when you turn it off and back on again, its blasting! This is the only way to go in the Sub $100 wireless speaker market!

If you are looking for full-sounding audio, this isn't the speaker for it. Although it has a "bass booster", this speaker doesn't have a lot of volume capability, and begins to distort the sound before the volume reaches a rich level. For example, if you want to play it loud enough to have a full-sound experience while you are exercising on an elliptical or treadmill, you're going to experience distortion. Another caveat is that although the speaker is wireless, the transmitter is not. The transmitter must not only be hard-wired to your source device, but also must be plugged directly into an electrical outlet as it does not have true wireless capability from a power standpoint (transmitter does not have the option to run on battery power). Therefore, the item's description as "wireless" is not entirely accurate, which was a disappointment. I also had hoped for more fullness of sound and less distortion for the price of this speaker. It does look good, and to some extent, affords a degree of portability, but overall, I had hoped for something better than this product delivers.
