Love the price and works great.
For anyone who has had braces for any period of time they can tell you that oral hygiene is a very key factor in their care. Flossing and brushing habits can affect the results of your braces after they come off. It can be very disheartening to spend ample amounts of money, time, and a fair share of very uncomfortable adjustments just to have your braces come off just to have white spots on your teeth. Those white spots are from the enamel demineralizing and starting to form cavities. Just like thousands of others who have had braces, I too was worried about the condition of my pearly whites when it was time for my braces to come off. My general dentist suggested a fluoride rinse, specifically the ACT brand. Being the indecisive person I am I stood in the long toothpaste aisle looking at all of the options available to me. After reading several bottles I settled on the ACT Alcohol-free Fluoride Rinse. I was drawn to this rinse because of its main features: Alcohol-free and it is targeted towards braces wearers like myself. Oral Comfortability I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of any form of mouth wash to begin with. When the alcohol hits your saliva glands it can burn fairly intensely. This ACT Alcohol-free version with Aloe solves that problem! Being that this product is alcohol-free and contains aloe you no longer have to dread the burning sensation just to have fresh breath. Not only does this product not burn, but it has the aloe in it to help soothe the irritation on the mucous membrane from freshly placed appliances. Taste The Act Alcohol-Free Braces Care formula leaves its user with a subtle, appealing, fresh minty flavor. The perfect follow up to brushing your teeth. You can feel confident when you use this product that you have eliminated your morning breath, or gotten rid of the bacteria lingering from your day. ACTs Alcohol-free Fluoride rinse is strong enough to take care of any pesky dirty-mouth feelings, but isn't as intense as most chewing gums. Quantity This bottle generally comes in the 18 fluid ounce size bottle. The directions on the bottle suggest to use 10 mL of fluoride rinse every morning. Even using extra, twice daily, this product lasted me longer than I expected it to. I have never reached the expiration date on a bottle. Cost In my local grocery store, I can pick up an 18-ounce bottle for about $5.00. It can be found online after a little shopping around from $3.00-7.00. This is about the typical range for any mouth wash or fluoride rinse. The part that sells me on this product (literally) is that there are coupons everywhere for it. I mean everywhere. In the store, online, and I bet if you asked your dentist he or she would have a stash in their office. Not only can you get it at a discounted rate with coupons, but you're getting a specialty product for cheaper than a generalized product. Packaging The ACT Alcohol-Free Braces Care Fluoride rinse comes in a typical mouth wash bottle. Made of durable plastic that won't break down over time, and travels fairly well. It's not prone to breaking in a suit case or if you drop it. Its bottle is conveniently clear so you can see when it's getting close to needing replacement. The lid has a child safety lock so there is no need to worry about locking it in a cabinet.
Told my orthodontist that it is better than the other Act products...more soothing to sore mouths....free food stuck to braces better. Just a little hard to find.

I like this product a lot it makes your mouth feel refreshed, I just starting using this about a month ago. I see white spots, but I feel it is helping with the plaque.
This is a staple product in my household, as 2 of my children currently wear braces. No complaints from their Orthodontist, as she actually recommended it. My oldest child's braces were removed and no white spots, thanks to brushing, flossing and ACT Braces Care!!
