First off this has to be the easiest furniture I've ever put together. I'm a 5'2" girl and did this on my own. Unlike Ikea products each piece is numbered making reading the no-word instructions so much easier! The product looks good, was shipped timely, and again EASY to build! Would definitely recommend this product.
This cabinet was very easy to put together for someone who has limited engineering skill. Solid and lots of room for storage. Requires two people to move it around the room if floor is carpeted. Has a modern look and the light finish makes it look much lighter in the room. Now I am thinking about buying the bookcase that goes with it.
This furniture series is very chic and looks great in my modern/retro home. Don't shy away from the orange panels - they are a warm, rich color - not glaring. The cabinet is a substantial piece of furniture - very sturdy. I'm using it as a TV stand in my home office. Every attractive, solid piece. Note: the ends of 2 of the pieces were a little bit crunched...but they're in the back and don't show. Unfortunately that is a hazzar of ready-to-assemble!
Bought along with the desk. This cabinet is great for fax/printer. Also, plenty of room for paper and other supplies. Top is big enough to set phone on, too.
I use this as a tv stand in my bedroom....its perfect! The orange is not obnoxious....a nice punch of color!
I am very happy with my Stockholm cabinet. It has enough space to store my things, plus, I can put both my scanner and printer on the top saving me space on my computer table.
Arrived quickly, easy to assemble, seems sturdy. One cabinet door had an 8" crack in the laminate (the white door) barely visible - did not bother having it replaced. Just using this as a temp workstation for one of my computers between the little space of my other workstations and needed the cabinet space for my other computer junk. Serves the purpose just fine.
I was a bit skeptical about buying furniture online because you really don't get a chance to experience the piece until you've already bought it. I went purely by the reviews that have been posted by others who have purchased the piece and I'm glad I did. The cabinet has a great modern look and is very sturdy. It took me about 45 min to assemble and the only tool needed is a phillips screwdriver. The interior is very spacious. It can easily be used as a file cabinet, or a storage unit for all the loose items lying around the house. I don't know if the appearance of the wood can handle the abuse of a kid, but if you're an adult who likes to take care of your furniture, you should have no issue retaining the crisp look of the cabinet. The doors opend and close very smoothly, but again, probably too delicate for kids. The orange and white on the doors is not glossy, which was one of my worries. Overall, this is a solid 8 out of 10 for the price.
The box was a bit battered which left some of the corners of the cabinet damaged. Although I ordered this piece with the bookcase at the same time they were shipped from 2 different areas by different carriers. This was damaged. Once put together, the damaged areas were internal. The cabinet is cool and mod. It is well worth the effort.
The cabinet was great for storage but after a week we had to return it because there was a smell in the product we could not get out. We even left the window open in the room for days and it still would not go away. The smell is still in the room two days later since we returned it. We were afraid to use any chemicals on the piece of furniture so we just tired getting it out by opening the window. We figured it was in the packing materials or wood.
