Arrived quickly and was exactly as I expected.
was exactly what I wanted
It was exactly what I needed for my hair pin lace afghan.
was very happy to get this item. i teach this merhod of crochet
I used to do hairpin lace crocheted throws and shawls in my late teens and early 20's, but got too busy after having children. Now, over 40 years later when I wanted to make a shawl for church I couldn't find my loom. I had a hard time finding a replacement until this one. It's the same as I remember and I'm back to making beautiful lacy projects again. It's so easy to use and looks fantastic!
Works very well. Stays together better than other brands.
Just what I needed.
This arrived in a flimsy bubble wrap package. Consequently one of the rods was bent. Not easy to bend back properly, but it still served its purpose.
The holes are too small so not able to change the rods to different locations.
This is a poor excuse for a loom to make hairpin lace blankets. 300 loops will never fit on this. It is a cheap and flimsy device. Get a 1/4” 3' metal rod at a hardware store. Cut the rod in half and mount the two 18” rods in wood blocks about 3” apart. Drill holes in the wood pieces 3” apart. Glue in the rod at the bottom but leave the top ones unglued so the wood lock can be removed and the yarn strips can be easily be removed.
