It stands upright so it doesn't drip nearly as much as other glue guns. The battery option is nice but it works great either way. It's my second one, the last one I had for 10 years and I used it until it fell apart. Very durable and I hot glue a TON of stuff. :)
Don't buy it. I took mine back. Off /on switch broke; didn't get hot enough to melt glue. Not a good purchasse
