I am very pleased with the information covered in this book. I recently purchased a TI-89 Titanium calculator and I am eager to learn all of it's features. This book does an excellent job of showing how to use the calculator in a step by step fashion for solving calculus equations. I find the book to be easy to read and well organized. Each chapter has problems at the end with answers in the back so you can check your work.
I just got this book and have not yet used it, but I wanted to provide some information about it because I found little to help me to know what I was getting on the Internet. I felt like I was taking a risk when I bought this book. First, this books has 112 pages. On average I think each page has 3 to 4 graphics, mostly screen shots of the TI-89 display. Second, you will not learn Calculus from this book, but you will learn the bases of how to use the TI-89 to do calculus. This is not a learn calculus with the TI-89 book. This books assumes you already know calculus and shows you how to do it using the TI-89. Third, this book mostly teaches by way of examples, which is probably the best way. Fourth, there are exercises at the end of each chapter and answers in the back. Finally it has nine chapters, four appendixes, and a brief index. How much is it worth? Price here at Wal-mart is fair. I don't think anyone should pay more than $15 for it.
