I gave this to my 11 year old son and he was totally excited to try this out. He had been wanting one of these type RC vehicle's for a long time. According to him this thing is “sick”... it really flys. As I watched him play with it the motorcycle took a tumble but it immediately corrected itself. We have plenty of space and road to enjoy this new toy. I was sent this item for free in exchange for my honest review, and my son gave it two thumbs up so yes we definitely recommend this toy. His favorite thing was the controller because he has always wanted that kind with the wheel and trigger. Ours came with free batteries, but oddly enough they were placed in a household type ziplock bag. But at least we received them.
I got this for my 6-year-old son and he really liked the bike. The bike is good size and is well built. It has LED lights that turn on when the bike is moving. The bike has support on both sides, so it doesn't fall. Uses AA batteries and a set was included in the box. This has a different kind of remote and took some time for my son to get used to but once he got it, he had a lot of fun. The bike is so fast that if you don't have enough open space, it will keep bumping into walls but good thing is that this bike is built well and can withstand crashes. Overall a very good toy for kids.
honestly, the bike is so cool!, my 5yo loves i! it is easy to operate, remote is really handy and comfortable. Built and quality is great too! The size of the toy is a great size, fun to play with. Needs more space to play, forward and backwards, left and side turns is so easy to maneuver. it has two support wheels so it stands! I love the Color and Functions of both the remote and the motor. Runs Smooth. The Wheel is not made of Plastic, its Rubber! Wow! it's fun and great for gifting for kids and adults too. I actually love it.
Love this toy, very well built, great steering. Very bright headlight, Grandsons love it. Easy to use. Just remember to turn off under the back of the seat. I have bought other remote toys before they never work very well. This one is a five star winner. Quiet a few age groups will enjoy, boys and girls. Came with five batteries.
I received this today and my 6 year old son couldn't wait to try it out. I love that batteries came with it-Duracell batteries-not the cheap kind. First, the speed is incredible. Second, because it's so fast it has to be able to withstand major hits and crashes into walls...and it does! The quality is great. Perfect for kids and adults too.
I have only had it a few days. I read the other reviews. Truth that it means to one side most the time. It is fast moving and not a precised movement. For 25$ you get what you have paid for and it is that kind of quality. We as a family played with it for several hours inside the home and outside the home. It's not easy to turn the corners but in all we enjoyed it. We used Duracell batteries and it worked for hours never replaced the batteries and it was moving fine the whole time.
Although this radio controlled motorcycle is rated for ages 6 and up, I let my 5 1/2 year old grandson give it a try, and he had some difficulty getting it to run. So I decided to try to figure it out and I too had some difficulty getting it to work properly. Then we had my husband try it. He was able to get it to work, but still struggled. So the age rating is definitely for a much older child and/or adult. The item itself seems well made and durable, but the functionality seems a little disappointing. I so wanted to give this a higher rating, because the listing price seems reasonable, and the toy itself seemed realistic and fun, but I unfortunately can't give it more than 3 stars. Who knows, maybe it's just user error, but we couldn't get it to do anything it said it could do, and found us giving up and putting it on the shelf.
The grandboys liked it. Runs good on pavement. Not so much on grass or dirt. When asked the only thing they did not like was that it easily tips over even with the side rails.
We tested it with our 5 & 6 year old. They lost interest because it falls over, doesn't go fast, because it falls over they couldn't let it go very far. All our testing and play time was with fresh name brand batteries. Requires 5 AA batteries & 2 AAA for remote. They recommend alkaline. Has working lights. Does not go very fast, states it's should go as fast as 3.7mph. Control range is 82ft. Weighs about 4 lbs. states it's for ages 6+. Dimensions are about 12in long, 8in high & 5in wide, the width cover from steering to steering wheel. We didn't take it that far because it kept falling over within 20 ft & the kids didn't want to go chase it constantly much further. Falls over a lot. You can reverse or turn left/right. The tires are supposed to have grip but didn't really help. When we first opened it I pushed on the tires and they'd go almost flat, not sure if this is how they should be or bad tires. You will only get 1.5 possibly 2 hours play time before having to replace the alkaline batteries. When not using it does sit upright with built in kick stands. Over all it's not worth $25 not would I ever purchase this item. Received this item for my honest and fair review.
Ok I haven't been so disappointed in the product in a long long while. I was ready to test this bike out, I took it out of the box put fresh Duracell's in there and hooked it up ready to go. There headlights turned on and I played with it for half an hour, it was great! My kids were so excited when I was playing with it, I chase after them with it, I did a slalom course with it. I was going to take a video later of me doing a slalom course, I Turn off the bike and put it away. Later when I went to turn on the bike, it was dead! The remote looked like it still worked and the light came on but the headlights no longer turned on on the bike, Let alone work and drive! I took fresh batteries straight out of the packet and tried them in the bike, it still wouldn't work. I also change the batteries in the remote, it still wouldn't work. (although the lights on the remote still work.) I looked at the instructions and tried troubleshooting just in case the remote somehow Unsynced with the car and it still wouldn't work! The headlights not coming on makes me think that it is a fault with the bike itself. My kids were so disappointed that they couldn't even play with this toy. I was ready to get a second unit to avoid fighting... I cannot tell you how much fun it was to play with this when it worked! If it was a long lasting product I would definitely recommend this, however it is not, so I won't be doing so!
