This is a very cute little boat and my son loves to play with it in the tub. The only problem with it being so tiny is that the battery does not last very long, however it does charge back up relatively quickly. And the cool thing is, is that the boat attaches to the remote to charge it..
I love that this comes with batteries. It's so disappointing to get a new toy just to realize you have no batteries to run it. I love that the remote control charges the boat.. that's less batteries to fuss over. The boat is small but nice! It doesn't go too fast, but it turns nice and sharp. We enjoyed playing with it in the bathtub where we were able to drive it in figure 8 patterns.
This thing fits in the palm of your hand so it is great for swimming pools and bathtubs but i would not take it to a lake. It would be lost in a second. Super cute though and has a 4 direction remote that respinds pretty well for pretty short distances, like maybe 30 feet or so.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried charging this boat several times. It feels really light, like there are no parts inside of it. I cannot get it to do anything. The controller lights up, but nothing on the boat does. I cannot recommend this.
This Adventure Force Nano Boat is great! Got it for my 12 year old son and it's a blast! We took it out of the box (controller comes with 3 AAA batteries!), flipped the charging port at the top of the controller, connected it to the boat for 15 minutes to charge (indicator light turns solid green when it's fully charged), and it was ready to go! We've taken it to the pool, to local lakes, and even in the bathtub and it's super fun! It's small but it goes pretty fast! There's a sensor on the underside of the boat so that it only turns the propellers on when it senses water. The only problem we've had is that it's harder to control when it's windy because of the waves. Also, you'll want to try to avoid areas where there's a lot of floating plantlife or debris in the water because that will get caught in the tiny propellers. Highly recommend this for kids and adults! So fun!
I opened this product, charged it and started using it within 15 min! The product does not work until you put it in water. I put it in the bathtub, press the button, and it'll be really took off. It actually intrigued my nine-year-old daughter as well, and asked if she could try it! Super easy for anyone to use, in my opinion above the age of 2!
This is a review for Adventure Force Nano Boat. When I first pushed the buttons on the remote, while it was still in the box, the temp lit up green but nothing happened. I thought maybe there was a switch on the boat to flip in order to get it to work. That was not it. The boat has a sensor on the bottom that only allows it to work if it senses it is in water. Pretty neat. It is peppy and cute. It takes 3 AAA batteries in the remote. That comes with the toy. The boat charges from the remote. Also neat. No extra cords! The drawbacks would be limited range for the radio waves and don't drive it in waters that have floaties in it that could get caught in the propellers. And the directions say to bring it back to shore before the battery power runs out. Duh. Hopefully that's easy to tell.
This is a lot of fun. My son has been playing with it in the bathtub, and even the kitchen sink! He can't wait to use it in the pool this summer. It goes pretty fast for being such a small thing. It's easy to control and has a decent range. My only complaint is I hate the way it charges. It doesn't plug into the wall or anything, but instead the remote charges the boat. We use a good quality battery, but I feel we're constantly replacing them in this.
My son really enjoyed this little boat . It was working very well doesn't go to fast and it turns really nicely it was so much fun he used it in the bathtub and outside in the creek but the remote is not waterproof we thought it was but it filled up with water . Unfortunately we lost the boat so i cant post a picture of it but i have a picture of the remote.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a fun toy that can get the kids occupied during the bath time, however, I'm not impressed that it'd last for a long time. After a few minutes of use, the boat would not execute the commands form the remote for about 1/3 of the times, and the overall build quality didn't give me the impression that it'd last for a long time. Other than that, it's a fun product to use.
