Kids were super excited when I gave them this dinosaur toy. Super easy to control with only 2 buttons, one is for moving and one is for sound/ mist effect. It needs total 5 batteries, 2 for the body and 3 for the tail. However, I only put 2 on the body part because it's enough for the dino to move, roar and creates mist. It comes with a little water tank to add water to creates the mist which ran out after 4 to 5 mins. So it needs to constantly add water. Like I mention earlier, it's super easy to control the dino, even my 3 year old can master it after her first try. Very fun toy for the kiddo.
The Adventure Force Caldera radio controlled Fiery T Rex is one of the coolest toys I have seen year. Any child that likes dinosaurs will for sure love this toy. It stand approximately 12 inches tall by roughly 12 inches wide. It has a small plastic van that hold water that makes the smoke from his mouth. His mouth inside lights up red and he roars. You get all these features by putting th water in the top is his head. The Remote makes his walk roar and breathe fire. If you want to get your child the coolest toy for a birthday or Christmas this is it!!!
I think this is a really neat remote dino, i feel its made well and as long as the child isnt too rough with it it will last long, like that it lights up and that you can make it look like its making smoke by using the water reservoir on the top of head, my son thought it was cool, but he feels he is a little to old for it- he is 9 almost 10 and his brother is almost 11, they are more into sports, electronics, sciencey stuff and monster trucks, so they will play with it on occasion, more just to terrorize the cat! But all in all , I will recommend this if you have kids 6-8, and they love dinosaurs- this would be great for them!
It's a fun little toy. The car thinks it's interesting. Needs to be used on a hard surface. Doesn't walk in variety very well. I recommend using your own batteries as the ones that came with it didn't have much juice left. Also it came with batteries for the toy but not the remote. And you need a very small screw driver to open the remote controller.
My five year old son loves dinosaurs so this Adventure Force Caldera Radio Controlled Fiery T-Rex is the perfect toy for him! He can use the remote control to make it walk, make roaring sounds, light up and breathe smoke! Very cool! The adults like playing with it as much as the kids! Its rugged and well made and has stood up to pretty rough play without breaking. It comes with a little water cannister spout for filling the water reservoir in the top of the T-rexs head that makes the smoke. He likes that he can fill it himself. The Fire breathing part with the roar was his favorite thing! The set up was easy, the remote control is simple to use and it works from pretty far away. I really like toys that require kids to use their imagination and keep them off of ipads and other screens and this totally falls into that category for me so im very happy with it and highly recommend it!
I chose this for my daughter who loves boy toys. She was super excited to open it up and learn how it works. The little tank shown is for filling the T-rex's water intake for the smoke it creates out of its mouth. This was my girls favorite part of the toy, besides terrifying our dog. Overall, I would recommend for all kids above 3. Good quality toy that inspires creative playtime.
Ok this is so cool. It moves but wierdly, it moves on smooth surfaces only. It comes with batteries in the tail but you'll need 2 AA for the controller. There's a small fuel tank, fill with water, then open cap on top of Dino head, don't over fill.
For your dinosaur living kids … they will love this. Its detail is fantastic. The facial features makes it life like and fun. The colors are spot on and it gives that T-Rex scary dinosaur appearance. The remote controls works great. Takes a minute to get use to. The movement is smooth and you can be in one room and remote control the dinosaur into another room easily. We did feel like the batteries died quiet quickly but the new set seems to be working much longer. There is smoke from the mouth but it is minimal. The sounds are terrific and the lights add to the toy exp. Try it , it's great!
I know I'm an adult and shouldn't really care that much about dinosaur robots, but I love them. And this one is awesome. He makes scary loud noises, he lights up and he moves pretty good. He seems to respond really well to the remote too. My granddaughter and great niece also this he's amazing.
The fire breathing part is pretty awesome, that's the reason for 4 stars instead of 3. The way it walks is the most annoying. It's super slow, like barely moving. It is loud enough of a roar for the kids to enjoy it, but not so loud to annoy the adults in the room. The remote is super simple. One button makes it roar, the other makes it "walk." It does take 2 AA batteries that were not included. The 8 year old wanted to try it, but that lasted no more than 30 seconds and it was over. A smaller kid may have more fun for a longer time, but it could use some improvement.
