I selected this remote control car for my 9 year old son. He like any boy is into this kind of toy. I have to say this car is very loved in our household. It is pretty easy to use and steer. The remote control steers the car forwards, backwards and it can turn corners. The car looks very nice and it runs smoothly on our hardwood floors and on our carpets. The only complaint I might have about the car is that underneath the car where you add the battery it is hard to unscrew. I would have recommended to the company who made this car that the battery unit be more easy accessible. That being said the car battery does recharge but you will need a charger that has an sd port. We can use our phone chargers or you can charge on your laptop or computer. The remote itself takes 2 AA batteries. I highly recommend this for kids who can easily understand how to steer a remote. My 4 year old has a little more difficult time with it. I think this is a great toy and it will get your kids off their ipads and xboxes for a bit. I received this car as part of a promotion.
Faster than I thought. Quite a cool little off road buggy. It has real rubber wheels and working suspension. The body panel is metal and looks pretty cool. My kid love to jump it off of stuff and watch it land or crash. It took him a little bit to get use to the controls but that's normal since it's a trigger and wheel type vs joysticks. But he likes turning the wheel on the remote more. Since it feels like a steering wheel.
I was trying to find a car my son couldn't easily destroy. This is perfect. I am glad it it's not made out of plastic. He really likes it and it is easy for him to control.
Got the Adventure Force Metal Racer Radio controlled Vehicle in the color red. The car you charge the battery with usb but the remote is run by batteries. The boys have been having so much fun taking turns playing with the remote controlled care. I like that its made of metal and not all cheap plastic. After charging the Vehicle's battery we turned on both and had fun getting the car to go forward and backwards, the front wheels do turn some to get it to go in other directions. The vehicle is nice size too. Made very well and it will give the children something to do that can be used indoor and outdoor depending on weather.
Our boys loved playing with this little car. It's best suited for flat surfaces and won't go through grass or leaves well. The car is fun for my kids to drive around and not too complicated for even my four year old to figure out. Our eight year old enjoys playing with it as well. I'm a bit frustrated with removing the screws from the controller and from the car. Each time it need to be charged I have to remove the screw. It does help to keep the backing from becoming lost so I suppose it's worth it. Overall, the car has taken a beaten and held up so it's quality is pretty good. It's battery life is pretty average of that of most battery powered vehicles. Overall, I would recommend this to others for an easy toy choice for a child.
This lightweight car is great! I wanted I've for my four-year-old that wasn't super complicated (some of them come with remotes with a ton of buttons) but this one is simple to use, not too loud, and a lot of fun!
This is a fun toy car.It is a metal racer radio controlled vehicle. The size isnt huge but also not small. I would say about 10 inches long give or take. It comes with a handheld remote that allows you to drive the car. It is rechargeable thru a USB cable which is a huge plus because I have had other cars that needed batteries and they went thru them so fast. Opening the box was easy, not a million ties and cords. I charged the battery before I used it. I didn't check to see if it needed it first but I assumed it needed to be as most things do. It didn't take long to charge, I came back to check on it an hour later and it was fully charged so I don't know exactly how long it took since I didnt pay attention but I'd say max an hour. It was really easy and fun to start driving. It goes fast and turns easily. My kids and I had a lot of fun with this. It did great on sidewalk, in the street and for the most part on the grass. Didn't drive as smooth in grass but still was good.
This remote control car is very durable and has some speed to it! My daughter has a fun time playing with it I will say the battery life doesn't last super long when played with continuously. It's very durable since it took a drive down our garage stairs. I would totally recommend this to friends looking for one.
The Adventure Force Metal Racer Radio Controlled Car is a pretty cool car. It's made with metal which you don't see often anymore, this alone makes it pretty cool. The remote control has a wheel for steering and a trigger that makes the car go forward or backwards. The remote takes standard batteries but the car has a rechargeable battery! I love this feature because to offer your go through batteries way to fast with remote control cars. It comes with a usb cord that you can plug into the cars battery to recharge it. The car has pretty good power and drives great.
Cars are fast and durable. The critical problem is the controllers. Purchased four cars and after five days of use, two of the controllers had broken. The steering wheel control broke off in both cases. Haven't been able to find replacement controllers and could not repair them.
