My fiancé's son really enjoys playing with this mini mighty Megasaur. The colors are bright orange with red on the top, going down to the tail. The toy is great quality, you can even move it's arms and legs. If you push down on it's arm, it does quite a few things like opens it's mouth, the eyes light up orange, and it roars. The roar comes with great sound, not too loud but definitely not quiet. He enjoys moving him around and thinks it's so much fun to play with.
This dinosaur is the perfect size and weight for my four and five year old boys. The roar it makes when you move it's arms is very realistic and they both love that as well. To add to all the fun the eyes light up bright orange everytime he roars. This has already provided hours of entertainment. Would make a great gift.
This is a very nice quality toy. When you pull its arm down it lights up and makes sound. I like it is not super loud as to drive me crazy, buy loud enough to hear and have fun with. It has been played with very hard and has actually survived. Hard to say that about a lot of toys. It opens its mouth and you can see its teeth. Overall great toy can not recommend enough. Hours of fun.
This is the cutest little toy! The roar sounds like the t rex roar in Jurassic park! The directions weren't clear on how to make the dinosaur roar, so I kept pressing different parts. I guess I should have paid more attention to the writing on the package. I think it's a great toy and it's distracted the kids from the tv and ipad. It's a good size for toddlers, your pets may or may not like the sound! Lol. I would definitely recommend!
This dinosaur is pretty cool as it has light up eyes and makes realistic dinosaur sounds when the arm is pulled down. The one I got for my grandson is green and he loves that the parts move, eyes light up and the mouth opens. I wouldn't recommend it for children younger than 3, and the age is stated on the box. It comes with the 3 button batteries and they last a pretty good while, as my grandson constantly pulls the arm down. This makes a great gift for any child 3+, boy or girl, that like to play with things like dinosaurs and other animals.
The dinosaur is very nice. My young son really liked it very much. He was pleasantly surprised that it actually made roaring sounds. When you pull its little arm it roars. It's not to big or too small. He uses it while playing with his small figures including his little cars. The eyes also light up orange when it roars. Overall, it's a nice toy for a either a boy or a girl.
My twin boys love this dinosaur. I myself thought it was going to be larger and didn't realize it does say “mini” so pay close attention to that. If you pull down on the dinosaurs arm he will make very loud growling sounds and his eyes light up too. That's all the special features this little guys has. I wish there was more to him. If you need a simple toy that doesn't offer to many extras then this is what you looking for. My children can use their own imagination to play with this orange guy.
Although this guy is great, he has a small design flaw that irritates my 3 year old. His legs aren't able to fully slide forward on one side. Other than that, it seems to be pretty durable plastic and the left arm when pulled down makes him roar. His eyes light up and the sound only lasts for a few seconds so parents can rest assured this isn't going to be too annoying.
I gave this to my 5 year old for his birthday. He liked it until I showed him how it lights up and roars if you pull it's arm... then he was scared of it. His younger brothers though, ages 3 and 19 months, are not scared of it. It's very durable and safe. The legs and arms move, and the mouth opens when you have it's left arm pulled down. It will stand on it's own. The teeth are a softer material and I tease my son by having it bite my finger and hold it. It will leave little tooth prints when I get it off, but it doesn't really hurt and the others find it amusing. Overall a very nice toy. I do wish the legs would move to the same degree... as one is positioned behind the other but I understand that is to help it stand. And it looks like the tail should move but it doesn't. It looks cool. Seems to have a decent battery that it comes with. And hopefully might help my one son get over his fear of noisy toys... I'll have to keep trying with that, at least sometimes he will pick it up.
I read dimensions of product before it arrived, but didn't realize how small it would be. That's ok though. He fits into our dinosaur storage box perfectly. I have two little boys who are both dinosaur crazy, so they were excited to receive this despite the size. They played with this (and the rest of their dinosaurs) for about 5 or 6 minutes before getting bored and moving on to another toy. Honestly, it's one of those toys that is fun for a bit, but when he runs out of batteries eventually, he will just "disappear." I don't know that it would be worth the replacement batteries. My youngest is a year and a half and he really enjoyed the noise and light up eyes. It was also easy enough for him to activate the lights and noise by moving the dinosaurs arm. My oldest is 5 and he also enjoyed playing with this dinosaur for a while. I would say 3 would be about the perfect age for this. The size is conducive to travel...maybe a good car dinosaur.
