growing my garden salad now! have 2 now, a 6 pod and now the 9 pod. loving the both, herbs in one and my garden salad in the other. in 3 weeks, already pruning my dill and salad greens!
Excited to use this! I've had my AeroGarden for about 8 weeks now. I LOVE being able to grow plants with minimal effort! I harvest lettuce almost daily for the past 4 weeks and I can honestly say it's very cost effective. It's amazing to pick a daily side salad for dinner. Not sure how much longer I can harvest but well worth the effort. I planted tomatoes in another AeroGarden and I'm still waiting to harvest those but they're doing very well so far. I'm considering buying another AeroGarden for herbs. Can't wait to try the southern greens!
This is the best invention ever! I don't worry about remembering anything as there is a reminder about adding plant food and it lets you know when it needs water. Other than that I just clip off lettuce when I want some. I'm still waiting for the cherry tomatoes but the plants look great so far.
I bought this for my own seeds and so far it is working great. I have two other AeroGarden gardens. Both are Harvet Elites and growing the AeroGarden seed pods ( lettuce and herbs) has been amazing. We snip and use from both almost daily! The Bounty is for tomatoes and jalapeño peppers. With all three it is like having a slice of warm sunshine on these cold winter days!
The nine pod size, 24 inch grow height, and intuitive user interface is just what the beginner needs to get started in hydroponic gardening. Great first choice for a garden!
So far, so good! I received my aerogarden, set up was very easy! I love the black color, sleek look and easy to read electronic directions. Today is day 5. I already have beautiful, healthy looking seedlings growing.
This is the fourth bounty I have purchased, so you know it has to be good. I am completely unskilled as a gardener but these units are basically foolproof. I am growing lettuce, cherry, tomatoes, jalapeños, and just started cucumbers. Right in my kitchen, with no bugs, no dirt, no kneeling.
This is my favorite of all my AeroGardens! I love the menu and easy to read display. My plants all sprouted faster than expected. It operates quietly. I'm so glad I purchased that I ordered a second one.
I have had my Bounty Basic since January 8, 2020. I planted it with four seed pods from Aerogarden: 2 Kale Mix pods, and 2 Heirloom Cherry Tomato pods. We three in our family (two 66-yr-olds, and a 92-yr-old mother!) have enjoyed adding a good bit of kale to our salads, and also have cooked some. As of today (3.31.2020) I count at least 36 green cherry tomatoes on the two plants, from pin-head size to the size of shooter marbles. To this point, a tomato plant on each end, and the two kale mix plants at the rear, are growing well together, though perhaps the tomatoes will ultimately crowd out the kale plants. The Bounty Basic is easy to maintain. I follow the instructions for keeping the water level full, feeding on schedule, and siphoning the water out every four weeks to do its monthly "Rinse & Refill." Its panel reminds me to feed the plants, and if the water gets well, the water icon blinks till it's refilled. It guides the user as to how to set up the garden, and tells how many days the garden is growing from the time it was begun. It also came with a "trellis," which I anticipate using when I grow peppers, cucumbers, etc. Customer service at Aerogarden has been stellar. I have learned very much from advice they've given me, and everyone has been very helpful. I've never been successful at growing anything at all till my foray into the Aerogardens. It's great to have healthy herbs, greens, and beautiful flowers, all without pesticides, e.coli, etc. And it's a lot of fun and cheer in our home.
The Bounty Basic fits nicely under the kitchen cabinets and produces a good crop of basil. Three of the nine pods are basil. I would rather have had a wider selection of herbs. Of the other six pods, three didn't germinate: chives, thyme, and mint. Customer service was responsive in replacing them, but the thyme still hasn't grown.
