When I retired I was already partly into a rehabilitation plan. I had to come back from the sedentary lifestyle that was forced upon me by working for a living. We had bought these Aftershokz Air headphones for my wife as a Christmas present for her to use at her work location. When COVID hit, NASA determined one of the buildings they had was unsafe any longer, my wife started working from home to save office space. NASA eventually made that permanent and she no longer needed the headphones. So I decide to try the rehab walks that I was already doing by this time. These headphones have been the key to my rehabilitation. My mind goes completely off the pain I am inflicting upon myself and onto what is playing on the headphones. Seriously, these headphones have been a game changer for me. I went from walking 1 mile a day to walking 6 or 7 miles. I am now off Blood Pressure meds, and my blood sugar is now stabilized. I attribute this, "miracle", to using these Aftershokz Air headphones. What I love about Aftershokz Air is: 1.) Being able to hear things going on around me. That is important because I actually cross roads and intersections where I am sharing the road with vehicles. My life is actually in danger if I cant hear. Huntsville, is on track to overtake Birmingham as the biggest city in Alabama this year. I have to share the roads with people who drive insane here. Traffic has grown ten fold what it was since we moved here in 2007. Military base closings and relocating to Huntsville has caused a gigantic boom. One highway where I cross at the intersection of our neighborhood, there is no crossing light. That road is 8 lanes wide. It is basically an intercity arterial highway. I need to be able to hear what is going on around me to get across safely. These headphones allow me to do that like no other, ear bud, or, head phone. They just don't. These do. That is crucial for your safety. 2.) I absolutely love the phone feature. Receiving and placing calls from my headphones is simple and just awesome. I can stay connected, and walk way further now, because I am staying connected. I talked to my mom for an hour on my walk this morning. I really love this feature. I have even asked people several times, can you hear me alright? And Every time the answer has been yes, I can hear you very well. I did not anticipate this feature working as well as it does. Hands free and Just awesome! It like they are right there with you, my mom is 660 miles away. 3.) Connecting with my phone by blue tooth is easy. And playing music and still being able to communicate staying connected while hearing the world around me? This is a game changer. This is my own personal "virtual office" and I can take it everywhere. Even on an 8 mile walk. These headphones really have been the key to my rehabilitation. I know I would not be this far along without them. They have been the absolute key to changing my life. This not hyperbole. No, I am not kidding.

Great headphones
The sound is great for music and INDOOR calls. Outside calls require me to push the earpieces closer to my ear so that I can hear and I need to move the microphone closer to my mouth so I can be heard. They hold a charge real well (so far). The headphones fit really well on my head while wearing glasses,
Pros: Works well, easy to pair with Bluetooth phone or device, battery lasts all day, controls are easy to access and charging is easy. Cons: Wish the fit was adjustable to the back of your head or so it isn't bumping the back of your car seat or chair.
These is a good option to have versus in ear or over the ear phones.
Not as good as in ear headphones lost some bass
I really enjoy the comfort and convenience of my new AfterShokz headphones. And just as other reviewer's have noted, there is a reduction of bass tones over conventional headphones. On my pair, I could hear the midrange frequencies much better than I could on my previous in-ear headphones. That was a trade-off that I could live with. Only a couple of complaints and one is significant. I was unable to get the headphones to play a previous track by using the AfterShokz function button. I have a Samsung S10 so that should not have been a problem. The more significant problem is that the black padding that covers the AfterShokz bone conduction transducers has worn off. This seems to degrade the sound quality by introducing more rattle on the lower frequencies.
Great clarity but vibrations are high even at low volume. There are tiny speakers near your ears...gives tingling sensations...i might want to return this...
Could not get the microphone to work, no ambient sound. Unable to change language from Chinese to English. Was able to do "Bluetooth" pairing very easily to make phone calls. The sound from the internal voice was excellent but needed translation. The "bone-conduction" was remarkably good, a great concept but too many technical issues. They are providing postage paid shipping for warranty repair or replacement and it could be a couple of weeks more before being able to use a purchased product.
